I can’t remember the name but you have a load of hexagonal ice cubes in a frame and a penguin to balance on top. You take turns to spin the spinner and use a little plastic hammer to knock out an ice cube in the same colour as the spinner and the loser is the one who makes the penguin fall. My niece loved it on. Christmas Day. Everyone had to play a round with her!

Sounds great I will have to keep an eye out.

OK I've now 2 black bags ready to go out the door:eek::o:rotfl: And I'm off for another week so that could double lol.
3 smaller bags have went into the bin/recycling also.
If no labels come round the doors this week I'll take them to the 2nd hand shop next week so they don't clutter the house any longer than necessary.
I've sold a few bits on Facebook groups so money from those will go towards my debt also.
The way I'm looking at things now is, if I haven't looked/used them this past year then I clearly don't need it so out they go.

  • I’ve decluttered 4 things today...2 books, a jigsaw and a jumper dress. They’re now waiting to go into a charity bag. I didn’t really have a method to it which is why it’s a random selection. I’ve also tidied and decluttered my bedside unit so lots of random bits of paper in the bin and books returned to the book case in my spare room. Looks much neater!

  • Well it's been a productive day de-cluttering wise. I think I've put approx 30 bits into the rag bin (no longer white school shirts, underwear etc). Was pretty cathartic. Had to make a mess to tidy up, but pleased it's gone.
    Roll on 3 more tomorrow.
Happy New Year one and all x

I would like to join please. I decluttered a lot of stuff in 2017, but really want to finish in 2018 and end up with a streamlined organised home.
  • Great idea. Count me in please.
Today I got rid of all my plastic containers and a chipped cup. Target achieved :)
