I've had a good start so must stay motivated. It's easy to get discouraged though when something doesn't sell. However I'm going to adopt the approach of someone on here- sorry i can't remember who!-list it twice then if it doesn't go the charity shop can benefit.
It's my daughter's 21st next month so the proceeds have gone towards a lovely bracelet£1000 Emergency fund challenge #225 - £1000.00.00/£1000- End of Baby Step 3 (A work in progress)0 -

The trouble with the whole room approach is it takes a lot of time commitment and it can be worse before it gets better - which if you have a lot other commitments living in even more of a state can be just grim.
The odd things at a time approach means eventually you suddenly notice things are better. Bookshelves get clearer cupboards don't attack you.
Of course I am saying all this and going to tackle the conservatory at the weekend!Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
Sorry I haven't posted sooner. I have been sorting my 3 items per day, I have a couple of bags to go to the charity shop on Friday and after sorting my boys toy boxes I must have thrown away almost 6 months worth of 3 a day in rubbish and broken toys. I've only bought stuff for the house that we really need as well so that should help a bit too.0
