When are we expecting it to go to 90% off as the main Llandudno branch had many Zoella advent calendars which could be broken up for gift baskets.

I wouldn't bother. Have you actually seen what's in those Zoella advent calendars? Have a google if you haven't, before wasting your money on them, even in the sale.

They are worth £3 though which is what they would be at 90% off :D would never pay £30 for them though or even £9 which is what they are now.
;) If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!

Weren't they £50 originally? That would make them £5 at 90% off...

Glad to see everyone done well this year in the sale.

I'm gutted I wasn't able to get into town yesterday afternoon as all I wanted was the Jack Wills over the shoulder bag which had been on 50% sale at £12.50 and another similar Pink and Turquoise one from another brand that I can't remember the name of lol:)

I think the pink and turquoise bags might be 'Fabletics' they still had loads of that entire range in a store near me.

Yes, so they're currently £15, which no one thinks they're worth either. I'd only buy at £5 because I have a Zoella fan.

If it was bought and returned as Boots.Com it doesn’t sit on the stores stock file and has to be returned to the boots.com warehouse to balance the refund. I asked a member of staff last year what happened to it and that is what they told me. They said if they sold it their stock wouldn’t balance, the refunds wouldn’t balance and the stock at boots.com wouldn’t balance, apparently this is part of the reason stuff shows as in stock when you order but it isn’t there when they go to pick it.

I guess that does makes sense really!
They must get a sudden spike in returns after 70% day. I wouldn't have bothered had it just been a couple of quid but was worth it for £12 (managed to get the items for £18 at 70% rather than £30 at 50%).
People are getting more and more savvy...

I am not sure I would give Baylis and Harding as I gift but I have had it and must admit that it is very nice and smells good to. I wonder if you did a blind test if people would know what it was.. on one of the TVs programmes people couldn't tell the difference between Aldi and moulton brown soap when it was decanted.

Aldi does seem to get good reviews in general, some of their face serums and creams have won awards. Never tried it though...
For me then main problem with Bayliss & Harding is the lack of a lather rather than the fragrance, it just didn't seem to lather up and the body scrub had no scrub in it whatsoever, some of the sets do look nice but I personally wouldn't gift them unless I knew the person likes the brand (I do know someone that does). I've always found it a disappointment and it's not like it's that cheap either!

A few years back I was brought some Molton Brown hand wash, it was very nice but not worth the £18 cost in my opinion! I have kept the bottles & decant Baylis & Harding into them when they run down. The colour is much the same, the smell not quite as good but nice enough for me!
The M&B bottles still look good & It just goes to show how people are easily deceived by a brand name – they think I still buy the expensive stuff!
I’ll have to try the Aldi one now too...
Too much of a good thing can be wonderful!

I think the item was the soap and glory make up set. That's the item I managed to get today and it definitely wasn't there last night when I visited, so yes, possibility more will go out.

Well my nice post was deleted....charming! Anyway, sorry again to the poster who is after the big make-up set, maybe keep trying as new stock can appear, especially in the smaller stores which less people go to xx

It was me who was looking for the £15 Winter Wonderglam set, but the BG deleted my post :(
I didn't want to fall foul of "the rules" so instead I have bought one off ebay (am waiting with bated breath to see if something terrible happens to me after I have "swapped personal information" with the seller!!!)
It was £18 (well £20 with postage) but I figured for the extra few quid it was worth it, I would probably have spent that much on petrol / parking whilst fruitlessly driving round different Boots's!!

I think Bayliss and Harding deliver less than they look as though they'll do. My gift set had slippers in it, looked good. Put them on my feet, could tell straight away they were very flimsy and rubbish. :(

In a tidy up shortly after Christmas I discovered I have some mini MB hand washes - xmas present from my boss the year before, forgotten about. They are in Christmassy fragances though so are staying tightly shut until later this year. :)
