((Hugs)) FBO, and to anyone else in need.

I can't believe that I have just lost this morning somewhere. Thanks partly to DH snoring, I didn't get a lot of sleep last night, so could happily fall asleep standing up right now.

We had a lovely afternoon with SiL and BiL yesterday, and not a great deal of leftovers either, which was a result. Too much wine was consumed for a lunchtime though so it was buckets of tea in front of the tv last night to compensate.

This evening we are getting together with friends. I actually really dislike NYE, and would happily be in bed well before midnight. I just need to sort out a few starter type things, so not too difficult if I could get myself motivated and off the settee. And waking up might help. I need to get out of my slovenly ways - I think I can feel my backside expanding by the minute from being sat on so much.

I'm going to write a list.....
  • Thanks for the thoughts. She was pronounced dead earlier. They are keeping her ‘alive’ to harvest organs.

I think I’m going to have an early night tonight. DH is working.

First I’m going to scrub the kitchen. I refuse to start 2018 in filth.

If I’m not back on later, have a great Hogmanay and may 2018 be wonderful.

    Lunch cooked and scoffed

    Twinkle napping.

Dot in big trouble she ripped out a bunch of Squeaks hair.. she is bored silly and just being vile.. she is currently running in circles in the front room... literally!!

FBO - deepest condolences to you and yours - she must have been in such pain so, at least, she is fee from that.

FBO (((HUGS))) and stay-strong vibes for you. She is at peace now.

We shall be doing the same as always for NYE; playing video games til roughly 23:55 and just putting the tv on for the midnight chimes. Having a dog staying is an excellent excuse for not socialising; and hopefully the sound from the video games, which Ronnie is used to hearing, will dull out any bloomin' fireworks.

I'm hoping Mr LW will agree to removing the decs tomorrow so that we can dust properly; and I really want to give the kitchen a thorough bottoming as soon as I feel well enough to do it - probably the work of a fortnight, the way the fatigue is hitting me lately.

Mr LW has said he'll help, but I've said he must let me co-ordinate things, and he must do the task I assign him, not just whatever he feels like.

F'r instance - I ask him to dice an onion. I turn round to see him washing up. I mean, great that he washes up, but I need the onion diced now, not in 20 mins time.

Another task for 2018 is shed 2 stone. When the GP tried me on Gabapentin, it put a shedload of weight on me in just a month, and I haven't yet found a way to shift it.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Huge hugs to you FBO xxx

Aldi done, park trip done, dog walked, food ordered for delivery on Tuesday, list written for tomorrow, item sold on fleabay, cuppa decluttered with lovely SiL. Fizz chilling for later and steak bought from Aldi to enjoy. Also managed to unlock an old iPod which is going for around £100 on fleabay so will list that shortly.

Happy new year to you all xxxx

ETA - LW - 2 stone is my target too. Let's cheer each other along xxx

and i want to lose another 2 stones...

ready to go out. Indian first then a pub. Was slightly concerned it might be a dive (rough-ish area) but then I remebered where I have brought the New Year in in the past. In all honesty, it's probably an improvement. I'm in SIZE 12 jeans. WOOTY WOOTY WOOT WOOT.

    Huge hugs FBO.

This must be a Flylady magic number, as I also want to lose the 2 stone that has crept on whilst I wasn't paying attention. This has to be the year for it.

Oven on, food prepped, I am dressed for the occasion. Britney Spears eat your heart out. I'll say no more as you will all have nightmares.

Happy new year to you all. Xxx
