I'm still in my dressing gown. Looked at today's list (from the bottom of course) which said to plan something, so I planned immediately to catch up on Xmas telly and have just spent 2 hours watching the big fat end of year quiz.

Having a cuppa and a mince pie now for breakfast. It is sort of snowing and freezing cold outside, but I must get dressed at some point and maybe take the dogs out.

Opened curtains. Looked at snow. Shuddered. Made coffee, emptied DW while kettle boiled. Back in bed.

I just had a night of sleep.. 2018 is going to be VERY costly.. I need at least £7000 to spend on ‘non-usual’ expenses ... eBay is going to be well-used I think.. Starting out with a tiny child clothing fling then a wool destash and a fabric destash. Computer repair/replacement first.

    1. Order win10 boot disc
    2. Check receipt for other laptop.. it may just be in warranty though I believe it expired on the 28th
    3. Sort utilities payments.. needs a phone call and I don’t want to ring lol
    4. Nail fix 1:30
    5. Sort plan of payments.. must get on board with those.
    6. Boss OH to ring about tax code.. he is on emergency tax and they are taking 1/4 of his not very much income!
    7. Murder 3 hatchimals a furry and a penguin toy
    8. Buy C batteries
    9. Pick up Boog’s prescription
    10. Boss OH to mop kitchen while it is vaguely clear.

That’s my day sorted! I have 2 grandbeasties here too while DD1 has a hospital appointment.

I'm dressed. Time for another cuppa as it's pouring with rain now so can't get out yet.

Snowing now. The four items in the laundry basket have been ironed. DH has texted to say he'll be home early from the paid stuff - yippee!

Heavy snow now. Roads being closed. Have rung council AGAIN to complain about neighbours whose front garden is adorned with rubbish. Bins were taken but they made no attempt to bag/stack this lot, some of which has been there ages.

Ionafan, your list is so long..
Yes, but most of the jobs are taking less than 5 minutes each. It's just that I forget them if I don't write them down :o

    :rotfl::rotfl:

Next on my list: wrap remaining gifts.

Keep warm, everyone. We've only had rain here, and now the sky is clearing and there is a hint of sunshine. (((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed x
  • Morning. It’s snowing. A lot.

Flying is suspended - we’re going for a walk. I need the fresh air. It’s been a horrible 24hrs and DH goes onto nights tonight until 2nd so I feel the need of some us time and hugs.

YorkshireLasscan i have some of your GUAG please? I do need to do some flying. Our wonderful cleaner is having a well earned 2 week break and it’s starting to show.

    First. A bucket of tea.

    Morning.
Just having a quiet cuppa as DH has gone to farther small town to do a couple of chores. As there are very few shops to speak of, apart from what he needs, it shouldn't be too bad. DD is making surfacing noises. Today we have rain, long may that continue instead of the white stuff which is still piled up.

We had a lovely family evening at the theatre last night. Thank goodness the ice had thawed enough in the day to get out of the village and get to the theatre, which is also out in the sticks. On the way back, everyone agreed that they had enjoyed it ( we've been every year for about 10 years). DH said how nice it would be to go tot he theatre together more often...DD told him not to push his luck...:rotfl:
Suppose I had better look at the list...
ETA - DH just called. Are his keys at home? Yes, in the key bowl. Guess where he has gone - to get a key cut.....shame he didn't think to take the key with him :wall:
