  • Much as it pained me, I went to Tesco (hate the place) only for them not to have any gingerbread matchmakers:mad: . I fancy the idea of getting some for our families, so will have to try again:o

Vulpix when is the craft fair? I would say not too early but maybe have a mix of items not just christmas ones so that those who aren't thinking christmas can still have options. Good luck!

Picked up a pack of the gingerbread matchmakers will give them a go. Gettingthere did you look in the seasonal aisle not the normal confectionary aisle? Sure they will make an appearance elsewhere soon.

I really need to crack on with some christmas card making. I feel a bit behind

  • GTQ a Christmas tree already up?? Wow! I do love Christmas but even that is peaking too early for me!

    Glitternut hi and welcome!

lazysheep Squeak was only 6 months last year but I still had to do him a stocking - it had bibs and a teether in amongst other things! :p

Loving hearing about all of these Christmas things popping up! :T I went to a local garden centre earlier and they had a massive section cordoned off where they are getting the Christmas display ready. Wiggle is now massively into trains and Thomas the Tank Engine, so I bought him a TtTE Christmas dvd for the Christmas Eve hamper. It’s second hand but still in great condition and was only £1.60. I also picked up two of the After Eights pouch bags for £1 each for my dad and FiL as they both like After Eights. That’s about all I’ve managed recently! Normally I’ve got very clear ideas about what to get people but I’m getting a bit stuck with a few people this year.

I managed to go shopping this morning and really start adding to my Christmas stash.

Most things were beauty bits for my mum as well as some books for her. I also bought some yummy treats from M+S for both my parents (I put together a foodie hamper for them each year).

So pleased. I feel a little bit more on top of things now! :)

*Edit: I've just added 3 different boxes of Matchsticks to my Mr T order, including the gingerbread ones! Fingers crossed they arrive as they sound lovely.
  • I am very tempted to get some of those gingerbread matchmakers. I'm no closer to getting anymore presents yet, but have noticed Christmassy bits gradually creeping into the shops. John Lewis had some of their hampers and their own beauty advent calendars, and more excitingly for me, some of the beauty /wellbeing Christmas gifts, and B&M had some festive scented candles, Hershey Peanut Butter cup advent calendars, and Cadburys selection boxes.

I've managed to ring around on a rare midweek day off last week and am trying to get some quotes for getting our living room walls skimmed. Ideally, I would like at least the walls to be skimmed and painted by Christmas, possibly new flooring too.

I'm sure ineckf the big coffee chains did a survey and said that the lord edn gingerbread latte is one of their bestsellers, with people asking for it all year round so it not overly surprising that Nescaf! figured to bring it back  even I usually get one and tbh, I don't actually like them that much :rotfl: same with pumpkin spice if I'm in the US around fall when everything is pumpkin spice...even the beer.
