Always stock up. I hate leaving YS in the shop.Aiming to make £7,500 online in 20220

This is what I though but I didn't know if I was just making excuses for my spending...Paid - 7095/26218 - Total0

I'd buy them too - you don't really need excuses to buy YS food - if you have the money and it's stuff you'll eat then it will save you money over the next few weeks as you munch your way through it.“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.”

That was the rationale in my head! I'm not going to need to buy any meat for about three weeks now, that's going to bring my food shopping bill down a bit.
Made the cookie things, they are a little wet? Should I have cooked them longer? Help! I need a proper adultI used 2 bananas, oats, a tsp of coco and a handful of dried fruit. They are edible but just a bit, floppy?
Someone kick me up the bum to do washing please...Paid - 7095/26218 - Total0 -
End of day round up. Washing is in. I napped very hard earlier which was stupid because now I know I won't sleep properly tonight.
Had a payout from the surverys and the panel payment from yesterday came in already! Can't believe it was that quick. So another little payment made, and another few quid in the emergency pot. It feels silly making these tiny little chips, but I know that if I didn't allocate it straight away it sits in my bank and gets spent. But the people at MBNA must think I'm a mad woman.
I'm getting a bit cabin fever now. I need some company. Luckily I will on saturday, so only got tomorrow to get through. Going to go on another YS hunt tomorrow morning, alarm is set.

Hi coffecakeandyarn:j
Thought I'd pop over and see you. Thanks for your kind words on my diary I'll reply in a minute.
Well done for getting under the 25. I'm sorry to hear about your friends no longer being your friends but it sounds like they didn't deserve you anyway xx0 -
Well done on the start - hardest thing to do, and you know how to do this.
Always look at YS stuff, and sometimes use it to buy stuff I wouldn't otherwise try but mostly things that can be worked into the next week's menu planning or the freezer. Love when you get Aldi YS - feels like a total win.
I saw that you sometimes shop in Sainsburys - do you do E-rewards surveys? They give you nectar points as a pay-out. I only started end September and had over £125 by Christmas - lots of presents, treats and food all paid for as you can use them at Argos and lots of other places, handy when they do the double-up thing too. https://www.nectar.com/brands/e-rewards
Make sure you look for their email that gives you the profile to fill in, I didn't find mine for a week or so, and don't wait for them to email you that there are surveys available. If you have an email with an invite on it, even if you've done that survey, just click on it and it will show you another usually, and keep going back to that email until it tells you there are no more. Sometimes the website portal will say there are no more but if you go through an email invite you can find more. There's no logic to it but it's true.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Mornings all!
Poppy - Thanks for your kind words. Re the friend, it's actually really sad. I've known the person about seven years, and they had a really tough time over the last 2. I've poured so much of myself into the friendship and helping them get through it, but it's just got to the point where I get nothing back. Said person also admitted they don't have time to fit me into their life now, I'm gutted. I love them dearly, but I can't be a door mat so I've had to call time on it to save me getting hurt further.oh well, onweards...
Joey, thanks so much for popping in, heyI haven't tried those surverys but I shall defo give it a go! I'm not really a sainsburys shopper I just happend to be there with a friend and picked up a few of their basics range. The price difference from the christmas Brie was huge! I'll check out the surveys today, thanks for the tips
Was very worth getting up for YS aldi again. I ended up with another three pork shoulders, five more packs of mince, some cod fillets (40p each!) and a bag of potatoes for 30p! I needed to take £6 out of next weeks budget, but I think I'm comfortable with that given I'll only need to actually buy some little salad bits next week so anticipate £5 at most on food. Had to come home and chip the icebergs out of the freezer so it woukd all fit in. Big freezer tetris. Enough meat fo feed me for about 8 weeks now, I honestly can't believe my luck. I usually go at night and theres no YS, is the key to YS Aldi going in the morning? Or is it jsut because it's Christmas?
A huge, huge batch of spag bol is bubbling away on the stove. All before 10am, place your bets on what time i'll be napping today :rotfl:
Had a bit of luck on a survey site last night, six slight variations of the same survey all in quick sucession so I'm hoping I'll be in for another few quid cash out today.
Todays plans:
:starmod: Tidy the house
:starmod: Spag bol for dinner :j
:starmod: Survey as much as possible and DO NOT lose interest half way through the day
:starmod: Another wash on cold and quick
:starmod: Must do my nails they are disgusting. I haven't for abotu 3 weeks
:starmod: Make a dent in a blanket I'm making which I think someone is going to ask to buy from me
Happy Friday all :beer:Paid - 7095/26218 - Total0 -
I buy the YS if it's stuff I will use and the price is right. The trick is not getting suckered into bargain buys that you can't freeze, don't really like or that aren't actually a good price but looks like it just because it has a reductions label on.
I rarely see reductions in Aldi, but I probably go in at the wrong times, tends to be 9am for me so if they are done at opening time then I guess they go quickly. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
GNU Mr Redo0 -
Hi redo - that's what i'm worried about. I know I use mince continually, and the pork shoulder I can slow cook so I'll defo use them. I love fish but rarely buy, mainly because of price so it will be a lovely treatPaid - 7095/26218 - Total0
