Not sure how shared understanding can come into it. Once the relationship has broken down, A will say they understood they were paying the mortgage together and B will say they understood A was paying rent.

They are a guesstimate at best - no one has ever asked me that question and so I am not represented in those figures.
I cook the most (DH isn't great at it) but DH does any cleaning necessary and I ironed 2 shirts this week and had to have a sit down (this brought my total ironing for the year to 2 shirts).I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans
