Bekka - I already did last night lol! Leisha is on annual leave till next week though so probably won't get an answer soon
We'll keep you updated from the inside guys, can you let us know whats happening if you get emails etc? ty0 -
has anyone heard recently if they have passed the interview? I had mine on Monday and the suspense is killing me! Also V worried about this Belfast lark. Why would they advertise a job that you have to go oversees for training?0

Thanks Dory!
Twiggy - some of us had interviews last wed and still haven't heard anything. It is very frustrating but at least you know you aren't alone0 -

Will do, Dory and thanks. I saw a new batch of recruitment adverts for UK mainland today, via Reed, and they certainly haven't changed the wording of those - no mention of Belfast at all.0 -
Hi.
Just to say, I had my 'offer call' last Thursday, was told that training would start early June, and told to wait for the paperwork to arrive.
I received an email this Monday saying that I needed to attend a very important call the next day regarding the job offer and was informed on Tuesday - along with the rest of my offer call group - that there was no longer a job on offer until at least some time from the middle to the end of July.
The lady taking the calls was very apologetic, and told us that this was due to a change in client need. She said that there definitely was to be a job for all of us, and that anyone living in the Belfast area could enquire about continuing the process now if they wished.
Not too sure what has happened, or if the job will in fact ever come to fruition, but thought I'd add my two-cents to this thread.

Sounds to me like Teletech, as big and international as they are, are just the same as any other organisation of this type in that they're hiring for roles that don't exist - yet. I know it's business and I know that is often how these companies stay afloat - by supplying the potential and pipeline demand rather than the actual one but this sucks. Playing with people's lives and hopes is bad enough at the best of times but in the current economic state it's downright unfair. Why can't companies just come out and tell the truth? I've seen several do it before - then you have the option whether to go through the recruitment process or not.
Anyway, sorry to hear you have to wait, S. I hope it comes through for you. Personally, I will no longer be wasting 90 minutes of my valuable job-hunting time being interviewed by them tomorrow. Their loss.0 -

My initial interview was on May 4th, so a bit before yours.Sounds to me like Teletech, as big and international as they are, are just the same as any other organisation of this type in that they're hiring for roles that don't exist - yet.
Interesting you should say that. One strange thing she said at the start of the no job call was "I always hate doing this", which I thought was a bit strange. Probably just a genuine turn of phrase though.
I'm quite lucky in that this was a bit of work on the side whilst I am a student, but I do feel quite sorry for anyone who was relying on this as a main source of employment - I was disappointed, some of the others must have been really disappointed!0 -

Not much, apparentlyI read that the phone interview is a group interview - you can see the ex-dmp's advice on the cisco setup on page two of this thread (sorry, I can't post links as a noob).

Thank you
It looks like you will need one for the interview anyway (not sure about the job itself) so firstly make sure your home phone already has a headset socket, if it does you can probably pop to PC world or Staples or a BT shop to pick one up. If you need the whole thing, phone and headset, I can personally recommend the Pocket UK Phone and JPL RJ11 Headset Bundle from PMC Telecom at £36.09 (you can claim that back on tax if you're self-employed). Cheap and cheerful but does the job just fine and it was delivered it within 48 hours on standard delivery. Hope that helps and good luck.0
