just wondering if anyone else is having problems with the workbooth cd.
i have got to the stage where there is one penguin and then it says going to a limited shell.
got on the phone to support and after haning on for nearly an hour told me one cheat, that didnt work so now i have to order a new disk.
once the new disk arrives then he will talk me through more cheats if it doesnt work.
this job probably just isnt meant to be.
just want to know if anyone had the problem when one disk didnt work and another 2.1 disk did work0 -

Don't give up. You're nearly there!
I haven't personally had that issue, however it did take a while for Tech Support to receive a 'pass' result at their end.
Thinking of alternatives to speed things up for you..
Do you have an alternative PC you could try, just to check if it is the disc or the PC?
If not, I would give Tech Support another call and don't be fobbed off the phone until they've fixed it!

yeah have another laptop, but the enter key is broken on it. il get a usb keyboard and give it a go on that one. if it dont work then i can always take the keyboard back.0

got my old laptop out with the broken enter button, first thing went and bought a cheap keyboard, and it worked a treat. work booth booted first time no problems. i didnt get a congratulations you passed. so i got onto the live help and they were able to tell me it had passed.
so now i have found a use for my old laptop.0 -

I have this issue on the laptop I use for work. The disk wasn't compatable with my eSATA cd drive so I have to boot up from a USB stick instead.0 -
did it not boot from the workbooth cd but it booted from the usb stick?
did you just copy the cd to a usb stick?0 -

Hiya Ladies and Gents,
I started training last week, having worked for TeleTech last year.
My only worry is that I'm going to fail the 'Experian Background Check' :-/
Does anyone on here know, what it actually involves?
Is it a 'credit check' or is more like an ID check?
I don't have any CCJ's, or any record of fraud, but I do have some defaults and I'm worried that even though I've started training, HR will turn around next week and have to pull me out of training due to my failing the check.
Any experience of this / advice regarding this, would be most appreciated.

Hi guys,
I have been reading the thread with great interest about TT. I just have a few questions for those of you who have been there a while. When you are working and newly trained do you have a lot of customers who are ranting and raving down the phone at you about not having any broadband service. In a four hour shift would this be every other customer? I just want to have an idea of how many annoyed customers this would be before applying.
And what do you do about the fact that when you are on the phone there is no background buzz that the customer can hear when the customer is talking to you, as you would get in a call centre, there must be times when it is very silent. Does this alert the customer to the fact that you work from home. How do most of you overcome this problem??
