I have been reading this thread with interest as I was supposed to start training with Teletech in May this year, but my DH's job changed at the time, which meant I couldn't start. The hours really suited me as they would have been evenings and weekends (if DH hadn't changed shifts!).
I've just got back in touch with them and they say the hours available are now only daytime. Is there anyone else who's been told this? This really doesn't suit me as I'm a student and mum to 2 little girls so working during the day is not an option (not least of all because of the cost of childcare).
If this is the only option with Teletech, does anyone know of any other work from home opportunities that would be similar to this?
Thanks.0 -

So did I, but I received an email today from my recruiter to say that the training times are 9am to 4pm at the moment. I have been advised to get back to them next month, which really doesn't suit me as I really want to start as soon as possible.0 -

This is for inbound sales, not tech support. Not sure what the working hours would be - I've asked this question, but am still awaiting a reply.
I'll be calling my recruiter this afternoon to clarify things.0 -
DH applied for a position with Teletech a few weeks ago and they rang him up on Monady night saying they want him to start training this Monday coming.
He said he would have to find out if he could sort out childcare and would get back in contact with them. Childcare was duly arranged and he has been trying to get in touch with them for the past few days, he has tried the live help on the site, who tell him to email, which he does - only to get no response (I know it's not been very long, but you would think if they wanted him to start on monday they might respond faster)
He managed to get a phone number and called it, but that department don't deal with it and all they can give him is another email address - again, where no response is received.
Does anyone have a phone number for the recruitment department at Teletech?0 -
Tin kitten do you know the name of his recruiter?0

Tin kitten do you know the name of his recruiter?
He says he has mostly dealt with them via email and it looks like it came from a central email address. He can't remember the name of the person he spoke to on the phone and he is currently wrestling with computer cables to get the pc on the wired network so he can get his machine through the hardware test :-)
I'm waiting for him to call me back once he is back online and i'll pm you the name if he has it.0 -

Working hours currently covered for tech support are 4-11pm Mon to Fri and 3-11pm Sat and Sun.
You choose shifts inside those hours which amount to least 20 hours per week altogether.
I'm not sure about sales. I was under the impression they are the same hours as us in tech, and I have spoken to other TT agents in sales in the evenings during call transfers.0 -
