my mistake but big enough. I am not allowed to post links yet but groupfirst.com
I am looking to gather investors together to form a group. Individually they can ignore us but if we form a group (no cash required) we can demand that people listen. I will let you know how i intend to get people together in the next day or two. I have already connected with another guy tonight who, like me, believes that having the numbers behind us is the answer0 -

I have a space at Mac Dowell Street Glasgow. The solicitors involved were JWK I was given a land registry document .I checked the land registry and there are 11 for the address .I assume these were group spaces done together .I have contacted JWK. but no reply at present .I am wondering if there is some chance of recourse if there were negligent in actually registering them. In the event the title and registry deeds are genuine then the space must be worth something.
Do JWK go by another name? The Law Society of Scotland doesn't list any firms registered called JWK.
Also the Land Registry is the register for land in England. The Land Register of Scotland is the register for all property in Scotland. It is searchable for free to the public. Google Scotlis
To note though, the Registers of Scotland can take years to complete registration of property. And in answer to your last question, the answer is a resounding 'no'. Trust me.Total - £340.00

If there's no money, there's no money, people can listen but there would still be no money.
I advised someone last year that to undertake proceeding against a similar company was pointless. She went ahead, won easily, and is now trying to enforce against company that has zero assets.
£4k on fees and a year wasted.Total - £340.00

My advice is as above, don't waste anymore time, accept your losses, and learn from your financial mistakes, and move on with your lives.0 -

There are solicitors involved, the FSA is still very much involved and there are a couple of group actions going on.
It's absolutely worth trying to get our money back- Some of the carparks are open and working well (The gatwick one that I have invested in- I have seen this in action a couple of weeks ago).
I have signed the early buy back option so realistically they haven't defaulted until August if they don't pay me, so there is nothing the solicitor or FSA can do until then. Don't give up!
(Cue all the posts saying I am naive and stupid!)0 -
Katie - no one has called you naive or stupid, but you have received plenty of well-meaning posts to try and help you come to realise that your money is gone.
This isn't said with any malice, but it is best if you don't invest any further time, money and energy in this.
I do hope you can find some closure with this sorry tale.0 -
I won't have closure until my long stop date in August has been reached- if they don't pay me what is owed then I will start to fight for it then via my solicitor, and the FSA and the group action.
I am in touch with someone who received their money owed to them by going through the small claims court.
I think they are trying to pay as little as they can as late as they can to continue trading but they don't want any bad press or more FSA involvement- We will see what happens in August.0 -

Doesn't mean the carparks are worth £111m+ and can be sold for enough money to compensate all investors.
The money is gone. It is entirely up to you when you get closure. It has nothing to do with the legal process. Whenever you like you can decide to write off your investment to zero and treat any recovery as an unexpected bonus.
In August the money will still be gone, and you will have to decide whether you want to give yourself closure, or hang on yet again for whatever new date Park First give you.0
