I am miffed that now they think old customers backs are turned a load of five star reviews, mostly one liners, are appeating on Trustpilot. Now, call me cynical but I really think they've paid for most of them or got their dogs and cats signing up to post.

Not just me then. I noticed on their revised T&C that they offer a discount scheme just for Daily Mail readers. The cynic in me can't help wondering if this is to try & counter all the bad press they've been getting from Jeff Prestridge.

I've finally got my refund off them, like everything with them no directo comminication only noitced when checking my bank account. My father left them before me and is still waiting, I did moan more at them though.

I'm releaved to be rid of them, I'll of course be checking my account on a regular basis for any direct debits that may pop back up, I really do not trust them, it's either incompetence or dishonesty from them so far after all.

They are now also inviting customers to write reviews on sign up (and I have read posts that they are offering credit to do so, can't verifiy that though). So if anyone's reading be very sceptical of any review that says "Verified Order" as that means they were invited to write them.

It annoys me how these companies think they can get away with all this.

Good luck leaving to those "new" customers.

They're offering customers who leave them a 5* review on Trust Pilot a £25 gift certificate.

They ignored my reminder that the non-appearance of my Final Bill was about to break OFGEM's guidelines. It took a public complaint on Trustpilot - with threat of going to Ombudsman - to get my Final Bill triggered.

The promised refund then didn't appear. OTM only reacted when I submitted a formal complaint to them when the refund was overdue (per OFGEM's guidelines), again threatening to go to the Ombudsman and giving them a deadline.

I now have the refund. My demand for compensation (I thought automatic compensation was being introduced by OFGEM) has been batted away.

What to make of this? The tariffs were fine, even with the increases, so no real complaints there. I switched partly because of the Direct Debit shambles, partly because the tariffs of another company (Bulb, via MSE) were on a par (and their service rating was miles better), and partly because of the ominous bad publicity about them. Better out than in, said I.

Despite their protestations otherwise, OTM are clearly and deliberately dragging their feet in respect of switchers-away. I don't know what they expect to achieve - apart from going out of business with as much debt as possible.

Glad to be rid of them at last. I initiated the switch on 3-Jan-2019, so it's taken nearly three months to complete the switch-away, despite the switch-to happening on 24-Jan-2019. This is not the way an industry should operate. No wonder people don't switch!

I signed up last year, prices increased almost immediately, then demanded higher monthly direct debits during winter months.

Then prices increased again before this January. :(

After I switched away, they sent me email saying extra payment will be charged if I did not have credit to cover my last bill.

Excuse me! that was not something I signed up and never agreed on.

Will not ever use them again!
    Vodafone sucks.

Outfox the market must be feeling desperate for new customers, they are apparently now £100 cheaper than my current deal with Bulb, I'd rather pay the extra £100 than go near OFTM with a 10 foot barge pole!

icon13.gificon13.gificon13.gificon13.gificon13.gif AVOID THIS SUPPLIER! I started with OTM at Sept 2018. By Nov 2018, my repayments went from £38 a month to £65, then £92! They changed the terms of the contract, substituting the membership fee for a standing charge. They wanted the increase to ensure fuel used in the winter is paid for in the winter. I wrote to them 4/5 times over a month pointing out I was in credit after 2 bills. The complaints email is different to the usually email address and is hidden in the terms. I complained at the same time. No reply from them in the 48 hours in their terms nor contact with a senior manager 48 hours after that. I had no reply so I arranged another supplier. This elicited no response so I cancelled the Direct Debit. NOW they contact me, automated initially, telling me I had cancelled the DD! They set up another, now quoting my first email (from 5 weeks' ago). I cancelled it. Finally got hold of them on the chat, got a final bill and paid over the phone by card, so no credit left on the account. During the winter, by average monthly costs for duel fuel was £43 and not £92. Worth a complaint to Ombudsman.

Be careful what you say here folks. I read in the paper recently that Outfox are demanding £10k compensation from facebook members of an Outfox feedback group, who have left less than glowing reviews.

As long as those comments were fair and accurate, OFTM stand no chance in Court.

My account has now been re-billed to address the fact that my Gas was transferred in December. Waiting to see what they will take as a DD payment this month as they have taken nothing since January.
