My accounts have now settled down, too.
My Electricity is now working out to about £45-50pm, which would be fine if they were taking DDs, but they aren't. I'm now £180 in debit with them even though I keep giving meter readings and they keep issuing invoices.
My (very low usage) Gas was transferred away when the standing charges came in, and I am paying £0 on receipt of bills from Ebico.0 -

Looks like they are using the tactic of keeping you in arrears so's they can stop you from switching?0 -

I still haven't got my final bill and I left them in December 2018. I see now they have put duel readings into my meter reads since I left British gas free time in Jan 2018 but the last figure is less than the figure I gave them from the free time read. They were using the free time read but billing me for the other read and my bills always had two reads on the bill. They couldn't put the correct reads on the reads if it smacked them in the face.Someone please tell me what money is0

I`m with Shell energy and I put my readings in once a month and they generate a bill and take the money by variable DD.
So no build up of credit.
And they are unlikely to go t*ts up, unlike the smaller suppliers.
Previously I was with Scottish Power for over two years paying by monthly DD.
In all that time I was never in credit.
Being in debit when I switched to Shell didn`t cause any problems.
SP produced the correct final bill and then took in by DD about a month after I left them.0 -
Really surprised at the level of negative feedback for Outfox the Market. I switched from AVRO middle of last year and apart from a change of policy on winter/summer direct debits all is well and savings are being made.
Which is the whole point of the excercise.

Is it the cheapest,???
Did you see the red warning which the CEC has for oftm and their other company (economy 7 energy)WARNING Outfox the Market's customer service record has been poor recently, so think carefully before switching to it.0
