I'm declaring £2,000 for March - which takes me to a YTD total of £6,600 - which basically means that I'm a third of the way to my target.
Showing a healthy gain on my S&S ISA too - but I'll leave this until the end of the year before adding this to the final result.Mortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000
Mortgage July 2007 - £0
Original Mortgage Termination Date - Nov 2018
Mortgage Interest saved - £63790.60
ISA Profit since Jan 1st 2015 - 98.2% (updated 1 Dec 2020)0 -
#65 declaring £500 for March.
Form has been submitted also.
Many thanks

What are you invested in?
As half our savings are in stocks and shares and we've had a bad month, everything we've actually saved is likely to be wiped out by the losses this month.
Good job we're in it for the long haulSave 12 k in 2018 challenge member #79
Target 2018: 24k Jan 2018- £560 April £26700 -
#11 reporting in with £2624.96 for March, making £9877.72 for the first three months of the year. Great start, even if it's a little frustrating to not quite hit the £10k mark - March felt like an endless sequence of annual bills and other things like that, and i'm quite pleased to have got as far as I did.
April's looking like a bit of a slog, but hopefully then some clear water to get the savings moving again0 -
#73 adding 833 pounds this month which isn't too bad at all considering some of the stocks took a hit. Keep up the great work all, inspired by all the efforts on here!Save 12K in 2018 #730

Hi everyone
#2 reporting £2168.96 this month. We had a big credit card bill to pay off last month's holiday expenses, so that took quite a chunk. And then no.2 son needed bailing out because he couldn't cover his rent and other "unexpected" bills this month - someone needs to do a spreadsheet I feel!
My spreadsheet is telling me we are nearing a new tax year, where I'd planned to take the plunge into a S&S ISA for the first time. I know this needs to be for the long haul (10 years +) and I should ignore any stock market ups & downs...but reading about people's stock market losses on this thread isn't helping! I might think about other options again - will let you know next month.
Happy saving everyone.Save 12k in 2013-2014-2015-2016-2017-2018-2019-2020-2021-2022 - then early-retired.0 -
Geoffers I feel bad dissuading you now! If it helps any I still intend to fill my ISA allowance as soon as I get a new one. (also in it for the long haul).Save 12 k in 2018 challenge member #79
