I've updated early for March as any extra savings this month will go into my rainy day funds. I didn't bank anything for this challenge in February due to my regular savings ending and I wanted to set the new ones up for the beginning of March so they're easier to manage, but I did start 2 new ones up meaning I've saved £500 for the challenge this month.

I've submitted the update form :)

#31 Reporting for the Months of January and February

    £65.93 for January
Cost of long haul travel for a two week holiday emptied my income from January. Holidays are costly!

    £1535.11 for February
Back to usual. Hope to do better in March!

I've got the same issue coming up later this year as we've an invite to Seattle in August and only one income at the moment. However I have got my £2 coin stash in a sealed pot which I plan to use to make sure it happens and minimises the damage! Hope you enjoy your holiday!

Apologies all for having been MIA for a few months. It's been nuts. I ended the year with 9564GBP instead of 15k (BOO!).

However, a pay rise + a nice bonus payment will help this year hopefully. So I have quite ambitious goals. I'll be joining the challenge if ok too?

Can I be put down for 20k this year please?

    THANK YOU!!

February - MINUS £1373.37  :o This is due to a lot of expenses (had to rebook some flights that got cancelled and wait for a refund, new deposit for the new rental without getting our old deposit back yet etc.!! Such an expensive month....)

March is going better so far however I've not paid rent yet and I have a holiday to Australia coming up in the first few weeks of April so hopefully I can save some pennies by the end of the month!!

I'm determined to be more savvy for the rest of the year. We're not going on any more holidays abroad and my outgoings are now higher due to paying more rent which should make me value every penny again as I've gotten very slack over the last 6 months or so..onward and upwards!
