I know the feeling. I did the PGCE which was really tough as it's all in one year and we were warned that there is a lot of competition for jobs, but I'm not suprised when so few seem to be coming up here. My mum keeps on telling me that I should be searching the whole country and move if I have to, but my partner has a job down here and would find it hard to find a new one, and a lot of rented accommodation won't let you have pets (I've got a cat). I've only limited myself to West Sussex and Hampshire, but obviously I don't want to be travelling more than 45 mins each end of the day as it's so tiring (did this on one of my placements).
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Hoping it will be easier for me, i'm looking at secondary rather than primary.

I think it is easier for secondary, especially if it is a core subject that you want to teach like English, Maths or Science.

Solway I always get to dance I don't even require music!!

Feeling really sick this morning though and have my nail appointment shortly and struggling to drink a cuppa and eat some 'itch fruit'.. I usually get chips on the way home but I just wanted to sleep last night. I did manage 3 glasses of water though so it could be worse.

Good morning everyone, we had the grants officer out yesterday to look round the house to see if there is any problems with it before we go ahead with the bedroom and by the end of the meeting he said that he classes the house unfit to live inspeechless-smiley-040.gifspeechless-smiley-040.gifspeechless-smiley-040.gif . The house has loads of rising damp nearly in every room but it's really really bad in both bedrooms. He also said we needed ventalation in the kitchen and bathroom as there is no fan in the kitchen and the bathroom is tiny, and the kitchen is done (i think it's done a good run 28years). So good news is we will be getting it fixed (means tested) and paperwork should be out in 3 weeks and we'll have to move out while all work is being carried out (i'm thinking it will be a mobile home but beside our house) so christmas should be good.laughing-smiley-014.gif
For the rising damp there gonna knock the plaster of up to a meter high on every wall in the house and put a wire round it and connect to the mains so that there is a low volt through it and that should prevent the damp. So it means everyroom will have to be redacorated when we move backspeechless-smiley-040.gif .
So all in all it has been abit of a shock and FIL had to eat his wordes yesterday when i told him it was damp.laughing-smiley-014.gif
House is looking good today so only really a bit to tidy just going to follow the trail of the kids.laughing-smiley-014.gif
Need to connect up a new outside light so if you don't hear from me i've probably electricutted myself.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

DH has tided kitchen this morning and done the dailies, WM now on and am about to put some jacket pots in oven for lunch and get bologense in SC for tea. Then it'll be beer and rugby tonight will a huge bowl of pasta. Need to nip into B&Q at some point to buy bolts for DH gun safe and then fix it tomorrow.

How bald are your nether regions this morning dear?????:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hope you had a good night

DD doing a bit better after her operation, ear still painful and we won't know for 3 weeks if the graft has worked. Not done much flying at all this week but after coming home yesterday from work (OH was off to look after DD) and seeing that the two of them hadn't even lifted a finger (glasses on the coffee table, yes a new one for every drink, can she not rinse it:mad:   ) crumbs everywhere, (yes they did eat well all day) dishwasher not even unloaded

I have decided it is time to radically de-clutter my house......., I cannot take it anymore!!:o :o
ebay ing would be great if I could open a paypal account, my computer keeps telling me that the security something has been revoked and that it isn't safe, not sure how to handle ackward customers and payments etc.
    just not confident enough

I borrowed a declutter book from the library and will get stuck in this week.

    today I will make myself:

unload TD, fold and iron, put away
    hang load of towels out,
paper work filing, shredding (will do in front of tv tonight)
put BM on, making healthier bread, with seeds in, trying to wean kids of white bread
pay out allowance, ONLY if rooms are tidy and clean
    take DD2 to club
    make shortbread
    hoover upstairs and downstairs
    clean bathroom

tea will be easy, defrosting sausage casserole in fridge right now

that will do for now, otherwise I feel overwhelmed by it all.. breakfast now for everyone, bacon rolls
Have a great weekend, whatever you might be doing
