Evening all! Just sat chilling with a nice beer while DH cooks tea - chicken fajitas! He was home early and my sister and her chap called round too so nice afternoon. Managed to get all jobs done bar hoovering upstairs and the downstairs windows need cleaning but both can be done over weekend. Finally got rid of the huge ironing pile.
Will be around for the weekend as we are bit skint till next weeks payday so lots of dog walking to be done and watching sport on tv rather than shopping and painting the town red!
Hope everyones well and enjoys their Friday night xxLightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!
Baby on board!:D0 -
Evening all
Hope you have had a good night pigpen (think you may already have left!!)
Managed to do the upstairs as planned this aft:
Bathroom spotless, kids rooms tidy enough and windows cleaned, all the upstairs hoovred.
Tuna pasta bake & cheese bread made and eaten, just washed down with a bottle of stella - 3 big boxes on offer for £20 at tesco so got 59 more bottles to drink!
Girlies at their dads now until Monday and LO in bed so Peace at last!
Have a good weekend flyladies xx0 -
Everyone's settling in to their weekends by the sounds of it. Tracyg, know what you mean about cheap fun til payday. Sods law too that I've got 2 friends leaving town (separately) wanting farewell drinks out and a works night out for a promotion celebration between now and payday. What were they all thinking!!
Had my facemask and exfoliating thing and sat here with a 15min rehydrating something or other on my fizzog with a V&T. Nails filed and gooey body butter squishing in a clean pair of socks on my feets. Determined to get to the bottom of this pile of ancient body products...No idea why we buy so much, I never look any different or younger, I just smell nicer. One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

Solwaykid after packing 4 more carrier bags with toiletries today I think I need to have a few similar nights myself. Last one was funny as I used a green face mask, well DS1 woke up didn't he, screamed his little head off when he seen me with a green face and my hair tied up at the top.
just ate a Mars bar and don't think I should have, best before June, oh well it's gone now.
DS1s driver for school bought him a game, chocolate and a card because he's changing buses with the move, lovely of them considering he's only been with them a couple of months. DS1 said he's saving them both for his first night in the new house, so we can all play with the game and share his chocolate, what a sweetie. He was really nice and said they will all miss him etc aswell, he's made a right impression on them it seems, he does tend to do that. DS1 got a little upset and said he will miss them aswell. He will be staying at the same school just different bus. DS2 seemed less bothered about leaving his school. He was only bothered that in January his usual teacher returns from maternity leave and he won't see her. Have said we'll try and fit in a visit when she's back. Saying that he'll probably forget by then.
Have been over the house, packed and took another car full. Unpacked lots aswell while it was over there. I do swear those sacks multiplied as I was emptying more there just seemed to be more. The boys and us have enough clothes unpacked for at least the first couple of days which is what I was aiming for, so we don't get up on Monday morning and have to start hunting through bags of clothes. All of the bed linen apart from the boys quilts is in the rooms ready to go on which will save hunting for them on Sunday night. I have absolutely no idea how I will put the boys linen on as the beds are very high and I HATE climbing ladders, hmmm, will see if I can bribe DP into doing that this time. Put some other stuff in the right rooms. Gave up when my back started really hurting, was late aswell and needed to get the boys to bed.
 Forgot to get the plaster again, must get it tomorrow! Should do a list actually, will be back in a bit with it.One day I might be more organised...........
