Well it turned into a bust, apparently she mentioned it and he didn't seem keen. She is away for a bit, when she goes back will see how it is then.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2

Even if this one is a bust - is there something similar you could go for elsewhere...?

It is, but the kind of job where it can really fly by as it's always so busy. I trained doing 2-10 shifts and liked the quieter evenings, but I feel I have done my time doing antisocial hours when the kids were small and don't want to go back to evening work now.
Obviously I want the Holy Grail that is
9-2.30. which I was hoping I might be able to get where my friend works as they are a bit desperate.
Maybe I need to hold out hope that my admin job picks up. There are signs that there is more work (and more lucrative) coming in, but atm two weeks are busy busy and two weeks are dead because of how the work is structured atm.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2 -

So I found another position advertised. I went and chatted to them about my possible availability and they told me to apply. So I did, had a phone call this evening and been invited for interview tomorrow!!! In a bit of a panic, but have my qualification certificates ready, and I have no concern I can do the job. It would mean a slight decrease in my hourly rate, but because it would be regular hours the pay would actually be more.
Anyway big decision to be made. I need to give four weeks notice for my admin job, but tbh they would probably be ok with less, and my self employment could stop tomorrow if I wanted, but I feel I should give some notice. Hubby says not to overthink it, but that is what I do 😂 I always planned on working more hours as the kids got older and I loved qorking in this industry.

Well interview went ok I think. But I may have rabbited on a bit too much. I think it just comes down to my availability and how it fits in with everyone else. And still not sure how it will work with the smallest.
However when I was taken around the place it was the most stress free place I had ever been. A lot of the job is automated which would mean less chance of errors, but also less using my brain. But although it would be fast paced it would be such a good system to work with and I think I could fit in well. Back to weekend working though......which I spent a long time trying to get away from! But only two sats a month so not as bad as proper shift work.
Think I have just decided that what will be will be.
The boy has been invited away for a weekend up north again. This time I cannot take him, it clashes with a day we are going to the theme park, but this time I feel a bit more confident of him getting the train on his own. Also he isn't in college in a Friday so could travel then.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2
