:rotfl: Lesley a 'not quite big enough' one is probably the answer :rotfl: i think these were end of season cheapo's from betterware and the bonus is they stack inside each other :D
My boys are worse cluttermonkeys than me  the good thing about the house is its on 3 floors and although the rooms on the lower 2 floors are very small the top floor only contains the younger 2's room and its huge!!
    Approx 25 feet by 15 feet :D

think of it this way... at least your house is lived in and not kept like a museum! well... that is what I tell myself when toys/stuff/clutter is here, there, everywhere  :rotfl:

Can anyone help with a breadmaking question. Been using MR breadmaker for a while now, I have only made loaves so far so have decided to start making teacakes for DS packed lunches as it will work out more filling for him and cheaper for me. Do i have to knock back the dough when i get it out of the breadmaker:confused: or just wait for it to rise a bit more after shaping and just bake. Thankyou

Hi furball :D I usually knock them back and rise again when I use the MR machine..stick them somewhere warm for around 20 mins and that should do it mmm I haven't been in to make any goodies today and now fancy something sweet think I'll dig a cake out of the freezer for tomorrow..and maybe a pie..:rotfl:
ooh and try the raisin loaf recipe thats in the MR recipe book it comes out lovely he might like this as a 'sandwich' for work

    I really enjoyed it :T
I'm still trying to tease the glitter and glue out of my hair, clothes and underwear...don't ask  and my nails have a ton of saltdough under them but it went really well and they've ask me to 'volunteer' permanently  ...a scary thought but having said that DS3 is probably the worst there..all the rest were a piece of cake compared :rotfl:
He was invested tonight and earned his first badge *proud mummy beam* :T
He is now officially an artist  and told Nan he got his timebobble (tie and woggle) tonight :rotfl:

RUN THE OTHER WAY QUICKLY!!!!! Once the scout association get hold of you [strike]we[/strike] they never let you go!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Seriously i got roped in by an exboyfriend about 2 years ago now as a uniformed leader to give up "just an hour or 2 a week" ...........hes long gone but the scouting has stayed and almost took over my life!! :o

But you know what - i wouldnt change it!!! :D

Kids like your little man make it worth it!!! I get a "proud mummy" moment everytime one of "my kids" achieves something.. be it a badge, learning a new skill or experiancing something that they never dreamed they would - without being involved in scouting. :)

You will really enjoy it... id encourage you to stay as a parent volunteer - you will have so much fun.. and your sons leaders will really appreciate as helpers are like gold dust!!!

Things only get a bit mad if you decide to take on a uniform role as then you have all sorts of official training to do and it can take up alot of your time (only just completing all mine 2 years on!!!)

But stay as a parent volunteer and get to enjoy all the fun stuff you get to do - without the hassle!! Its like a second childhood - cos you can behave like an complete big kid and if anyone asks why your doing it ..... "to encourage the kids to join in - honest" !!! :D :rotfl:

    [/end scouting promotion]:rotfl:

Good morning, been a while since I popped in and posted. It's been a little busy.....don't you just love the festive, dash about, head up **** season!

D&DD well done for getting involved :D so few parents do now, hope you're not too 'stuck together' this morning.

Jamie, well done with the loo issue, I remember that day well, crying in happiness over something so small to others but so big to those who have issues.

Well, I need to do something, for weeks now, since we moved in or just after my freezer has been at 'full' all the time, cupboards are about the same, if I have even noticed a gap I have plugged it with something. I need now to shop from home and literally buy what we need, without excuses! This won't be easy as I have my own issues with empty cupboards and freezers, but needs doing or the meat orders I have for Xmas for example just aren't going to fit in there. Not all main meal stuff in there, breads, baked spuds, mash, pre cooked/blanched veg etc etc.

Ok, I've said it, now I just need to stick to it, until the 17th of December I will buy only what I need and nothing more! You have my permission to kick me or similar if you see my GC total soaring! **Bites nails in panic already**
One day I might be more organised...........

Morning... have had a sleepless night... ds2 was awake from about 3-3.30 coughing... and I have painful shoulders from sleeping on one side all night..... :(

Johanne - do you know anything about "beavers"? Am trying to get ds1 on the waiting list at least for 2 groups round here and having mega trouble just getting hold of someone! Do you know if the age to start is 5 or 6?

Update on onion marmalade.... it's been in the fridge overnight and it now thick syrupy marmalade - no excess liquid - so simmer for as long as you can!

lil-me - good luck with your challenge! Why not post what you use each day etc from your "stores" and state whether you buy anything - a lot easier to stick to something if you know someone else is reading it!!

Oh now that would be revealing, no getting out of it then I suppose is there...might be easier to just post what I buy? as long as noone minds. Same as D&DD did. Remembering everything I used and having the time to post it would be a tricky one. I haven't bought anything which would be included in my GC challenge target since last Friday apart from the milk deliveries of course. I have added the months worth of milk deliveries to the GC target total already so that is paid for.

Oh I got one of those 'see how much electric his stuff is using':rotfl: thingies yesterday. He has done something different, when we are at clubs where he races he pays fees to do so, which includes to use electricity, he's been charging his batteries up as much as possible there instead of at home as much. He's been putting a big plastic sheet over the garage door so he doesn't have to use the heater so often, has put a door curtain on the door which joins the garage to the house, so have seen changes. We haven't used the gadget yet but will try to today, I think DS2 will enjoy being involved with that as he is off school. Only just coming up 7 but has his Dad's obsession for electrical things.

Right, need to get chilli out of freezer for dinner, before I forget, again..
