OMG  You've just reminded me I've run out of Melatonin  I forgot to order it    oh well will just have to get the matchsticks ready for my eyeballs :rotfl: Let me know how those baths work out..especially skinwise.
Eyeq comes in Vanilla and fruit (both taste yuk to be honest!) we use the vanilla as its least tasteable so better for hiding if needed ;)
I think the doves flour has a recipe on the packet for gf bread but not tried it yet in the panny (came out like a brick in the morphy richards though..but no gf cycle on that)

DS had the most horrific meltdown he's had for ages last night..really violent had to restrain him so he couldn't put his head through the door..was like a different kid after though I just think he needed to blow bless him..doubled his epsom salts soak and he seemed happy as larry this morning..I'm trashed tho :rotfl:
  • will let you know about the baths....:)

will give the bread a go later heres to hoping for an un brick like lot of rolls lol

its awful when they go like that isnt it, for ds3 i have a 6ft perpose built stairgate which i padlock at night (god i sound so cruel lol) this keeps him in his room and safe as he would escape if he could and end up under a blimin car!! he usually gets very aggressive about 6pm which i then put him up to his room with power rangers magazines and his wind up torch, no lightbulb in his room as he flicks switches and blows the whole house electrics lol

the epsom salts sound as if they do a great job!!! i hope you are taking it easy today lol

ds1 has a major episode at school yesterday and i had to collect him, he back today though, fingers crossed i havent had a call today yet!

    gotta love them though lol

Yep we too have shares in padlock companies :D although we don't seem to have the 'escaping while stark naked' quite so much now :rotfl: I just hope he'll wear clothes more once he's older...we are Mr Pants man still unless he's doing his sumo wrestler impressions the we're 'superwedgie man' lol...
I love those wind up torches after a lantern one now waiting til they get cheaper!!

Breakfast today was toast or cereal

Lunch is ham and cheese toasties (boys love these cold for packed lunch)
Me and OH have veggie soup and bread
DS3 has taken 2 x doughnuts,1 x brownie and a bag of kettle chips  (and theres me on the healthy eating commitee :o )
Run out of strawbs and low on milk so have to do a shop run today sometime..will probably do Sainsburys again as its closest and Mr T's has too many special offers I'll end up doing a trolley dash :rotfl:

Dinner is simmering nicely we have [STRIKE]lamb[/STRIKE] oxtail hot pot tonight as its freezing here!! Making me dribble smells lovely!!
DS3 will be having HM dippers and crusty gf bread if I get it made in time!!
  • D&DD - what did you use to coat your doughnuts? Was it chocolate or flavoured icing? Have only cooked sugared or jam doughnuts before and was concerned that if I did use just chocolate it might crack and fall off.

Absolutely stuffed at present. :o DH wasn't well last night and didn't touch his dinner (Jamie O's bothan burgers and salad). After lingering around looking longingly at the plate, I asked if he was planning on eating any. No sooner had he said no than I had it off the table, wrapped up and in the fridge for todays lunch. Waste not want not. Yum!

My pantry now has 5 bags of flour, 4 large jars of coffee, 3 large marmite (from tescos mega reductions £1 :D ) and 6x 160 Typhoo tbags. Oh and 2 Heinz Bbq sauces. (5p each from tes' mega reduc' ). It did have 3 tins of chicken soup but DS1 found it thanks to DH. Oh well, its a beginnings.

Freezer still freezing air alone.

I just have to say that Ididnt appreciate the issues you girls have to deal with - I had no idea, honestly, about the problems that come with adhd etc.

I found it difficult enough bringing up 2 kids with the standard issues, honestly dont know how I would have coped with all the extra ones you people deal with daily.

    My hat's off to you all!!!! :T :T :T :T :T :T :T
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

OK NOW i made donuts to ur recipe, and i misread and put 2 tablespoons of salt in so threw a batch of donuts away and the miture, so re did the mixture and tasted the 1st batch of donuts and it still tasted salty..so i came on here and have just realised it says 1/4 of a teaspoon and i had put 1/4 of a table spoon in, does not taste that bad..as i put a bit less than 1/4 of tablespoon? Will these be ok for the kids or not? as ive added sugar to take the edge away from the taste of the salt even tho you cant taste it that much..and hey i got

  • Yeah we love pictures.

D&DD you will be pleased to know i will be taking over your thread this month, i jsut had a SUMMONS  for £320!!!! but it says on the letter if i pay it by the 5th December i dont need to go to court and i have the money that i can use to pay it but things are going to be as water tight as a dolphins bum in this house from now on if i want any chance of being able to afford christmas!!!!

I am going to have about £80 to use for food shopping and any unexpected payments that are due or anything thats needed. Not to mention my son has to be an animal (hes decided a sheep) for his school play on the 14th December! plus £20 to cover an overdraft, i need to order my mother in laws family tree this month (£10) if i want it to arrive by christmas so i infact have about £40 to get us by on so i will be shopping from home this month im hoping i can get a bit more money off the bf though to top it up and possibly even finish some christmas shopping etc.
    Time to find me again
