I am trying to post a picture of a half done braid in the hopes that it will help. But I haven't done piccies before, so if it doesn't work, I want you all to join hands and imagine the process for Jackie...I have TRIED to type it as words but get all confuddled!

Crikey Morwenna I'd need a better set of eyes than I've got to see that:rotfl:

It is a lovely neat braid though.I tend to cut my dough with scissors as its so spongy my knives make heavy weather of it

    Superpup and gotitspendit Hello:T

Oh Boredofbeingathome your comment brought back some good memories as I used to shop in Morrisons Chorley and yes it was manky Morrisons at that time.My Sister used to live in Euxton and were in Chorley daily as I worked at the Probation Office as a work experience girl.Small world isnt it lol.As for the baking apple how about stewing it with a few sultanas and using it to stuff one of Dees by now famous braids?biggrin.gifLesleyxx

Hello i just wanted to say that i also live in Chorley lol, Im amazed at a little town and 3 of us on here so far are from Chorley! I actually like Morrisons lol but i love Tesco more :)
So really just posting to say hello to the other 2 people in Chorley..even though im not origanally from Chorley lol but I do live here :)
Spreading the word:D I think it's a knock on effect, i tell everyone i know about this site. I think Chorley is well served for all supermarkets and i shop in turn at most. I usually take my Gran to morrisons on a wednesday, and have to park as near to entrance as i can (she's 92) and have parked in mother and child space before now,(with permission from store as don't have a disabled badge) as i think it should include a space for infirm old ladies who can't stand on their own on a hill space- rant over. she loves it there and it gets her out a bit and we have dinner as well. Ialso tend to go to farm shops alot. I know a few folk on here are from Chorley and it's the law that we have to save money, and a bargain is a bargain. I remember once my MIL from Durham was raving about some Rectella curtain she had saved up for from M&S she told me how much they cost- I went how much? i could have got them for you at a third of the price and staff discount from the factory- oops, i was in the bad books for weeks:rolleyes: But i love this thread such great ideas on it and i think it makes me challenge myself more on the waste front as well. As somebody wisely said on another thread- we have everything we need-and here we do:T
