Ooh Lesley, you are a worse temptress than Dee! She positively flaunted her snowman tin! But to go down the whole sugar and lemon route.. shocking! I will NOT ask for my lift home to stop at Lidl on Monday, no I won't.. even though DD2 loves waffles..or could it be a Christmas pressie for me...hmmm...0

two ways:
1) hit the quote button but hold down the CTRL key when you do it (this should, depending on what version of IE/Firefox/whatever you're running, open in a new tab) and then you can copy the right bit into a new post.
2) the way i prefer: to make a quote, you have to typename of person wrote:and then when the quote has finished type [/ quote] without any spaces (I've had to put them in, in the hope that it will put this through *without* turning it into a quote.. lol.. ) to close the quote.
You can do this with anything, even if you're quoting from external to the site. E.g.smartypants wrote:i'm so clever!smartypants wrote:i'm so clever! [/ quote] (remember, with no spaces inside the [])...you get the idea.
hope that helps!

The weathers been pretty awful here- I'm in Weston super Mare and the wind has been phenomenal. It's been raining for days! DD goes to school at the top of the hill and it's so unsheltered up there it's freezing. MiL gave me loads of food for the freezer today- at least 1.5 weeks worth of meat. I'm off to bed now as I'm working an early tomorrow so have to be there at 7.
