I remember because I was going to buy one for my mum (it had larger buttons ,very easy to use etc) .I cant remember what the model was called though does anyone else ?
Was it the Vodafone Simply / Sagem VS1 / VS2? link with pictures. (there's a flip screen version too).
All designed for the older generation, with as few features as possible.0 -
Teeb, yes I think that was the phone I was trying to remember ,have to say though the phone posted by Errata looks perfect but the price  mum would go spare !!Moneysaving? - I cant stop spending because of this site!0

VS1 and VS2 are nice phones but I cant unlock them for free on the internet, to be able to put an orange sum card in, so I think for the mo I still going to go for the samsung C300, Ta anyway :T0

Does anyone know where I can get the Vodaphone Simply/Sagem VS3.
Hubby wants one and I'm finding it hard to find, none on e-bay. He's insisting on a flip phone or slide phone with largish buttons to accommodate his fat fingers. He's having trouble using the phone with small flat buttons my son gave him, and I'm fed up of hearing him moan about it :rotfl:0 -
Can anyone suggest a mobile with a large font and display? Price not really a problem but information is so hard to come by. It is for my mother who finds small text a problem.
Many thanks.0 -
You'll find a few suggestions in this thread although it seems all the newer basic phones are getting smaller.0

I have just given my parents 2 Nokia 3310s. They love the older phone with the bigger buttons and simple menus. Both of them had modern phones, but jumped at the change of having two old phones. Needless to say they are very happy with them and won't be getting modern phones again!
They are both in their mid to late 50s.
I must say, those phones are by far the easiest I've ever had.0 -
There is a company called Matobmobile.co.uk who specialise in 'big button' phones or 'easy to use' phones. They also do phones that are hearing aid compatible and almost all of their range have large screens with large font text. I bought a couple of mobiles for my parents from them, and they are chuffed to bits with the ease of use and stripped out fuctions of the handsets. My Dad doesn't have to get out his glases now every time he wants to see who is calling!0
