I have one of these - http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/index.cfm?go=payasyoutalk.productDetails&pid=506&numofferingid=7039&WT.svl=link2
It doesnt have big buttons but when you do dial someone by pressing the buttons the numbers come up really large on the screen (saves me having to put my glasses on!) - very basic phone but cheap with a long standbye.Kondo'ed 76 items from wardrobe, 4 carrier bags of books0 -
Thanks Soon2bjobless.
That could also be an avenue to explore. I like the price tag and the large screen is also a very good idea.
I will have to put my thinking hat on and chat to my parents about what they want.

Its an ancient model, but I love the Nokia 3510. I have trouble seeing in the dark, and it lights up when it rings, as well as having a loud ring tone and fairly big buttons. When my old one packed up, I got one on ebay for £10. By day I use a Nokia N70, but when I can't see at night I switch the sims and get old faithful out. Not a mobile I know but on the subject of phones with big buttons, I would now avoid the BT big button corded phone. Very poor quality. The buttons go faulty very quickly. I've been through several.0

Thanks for that.
I have been in to the Orange shop today in town and they do indeed have it in stock for £19.99 however it is £10 top up as well making it £29.99 but if you already have an orange sim card you don't have to get the top up.
Mum and Dad are on orange so I have to get there sim card and go back to the shop.
I have seen the phone and the button are of an acceptable size and it is good that it has a large display too. :rotfl:0 -
A year or so ago there was a mobile phone brought out specifically for the older generation.
I remember because I was going to buy one for my mum (it had larger buttons ,very easy to use etc) .I cant remember what the model was called though does anyone else ?Moneysaving? - I cant stop spending because of this site!0 -

I had seen those types of phone. To me though, they are phone that has been out for ten years or more (which is ideal), built like a brick.
I would never ever buy one though at that price range, A lot out of principal. I perceive them to be taking advantage out of a more mature generation that are not dexterous sight wise and physically as a younger person. the phones cannot be very expensive to manufacture as they are only very basic. The bit that sets them apart is having a large display and large buttons.
I believe the C300 will do the job now that I have seen it :T0
