It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Morning, W. As you know, I've been reading your diary since the beginning and I understand you have issues with your mother but I have to agree with everything Chrystal has said. I know you want to work but is it really practical for the time being? Have a serious think about it (I know you will). It might be better for the wee one, yourself and the other two if you took some time out.
Hope you get something sorted today.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
A lot of thinking happening TF. Thank you
I really need to get my rear into gear and do some cleaning. I'm sat with another cuppaI have got the smalls up and made them pancakes so they are happy making [STRIKE]a mess[/STRIKE] craft kits.
I Think I need to top up the electric today  I forgot on Fridayand still haven't done it! Will do the gas at the same time however that doesn't seem to run out as quick.
Another batch of Nectar money off vouchers 4 x £12 of a £60 spend. I might have to use some to top up some of the basics if I can fit it in. Quite a bit is running lower than I like. I prefer to have it in and not needing to shop every week.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Okay I've cleaned enough to sit down again.
Going to meal plan until the end of the month so I can make the most of at least one of the Mr Sainsbugs vouchers.
Plans for this week - if I write it here I have to stick to it
Text friend about starting to repay debt.
Pay £226.14 to rent (Still playing catch up with this so won't really change the arrears)
Pay at least £50 to council tax (Cheque that's clearing)
Do a food shop for £48 (£60-£12 voucher) Make sure I use the £1 delivery slots.
At least one thing of my to-buy list“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Looks like a good plan there hun x0

Hope you can work the childcare out W, one thing you don’t need right now is more stress.
I can understand people advising you to think about giving up your job for now but I wonder if that would be a good idea for you mentally? Obviously the stress of childcare for your youngest especially isn’t good but getting out to work seems to have helped you feel more positive. Correct me if I’m wrong, just something to think about - your well-being is important too, whatever you decide to do.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. I do agree with you as well, Sasybo. It's difficult to know what to do because I think working has been good for W but if it's her mother's reaction to giving up the job that's bothering her then that's a different thing. She tries so hard to do the right thing I just want everything to work out for her.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0

You’re right Toni’sfriend, she shouldn’t continue working for the wrong reasons. It is difficult & I guess W just needs to work it out as best she can. I don’t disagree with anything anyone has said, just wanted to remind her to think about herself as well.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. I think it's something I'm going to have to think about even though I didn't want tooI have nothing against anyone on benefits and I hope I don't come across that way.
I just know it will be something else in my Mum's eyes I failed her by and an embarrassment to her. This is totally how she would see it and she probably wouldn't speak to me
Well to be honest that is so very unfair of your mum.
She surely must realise how difficult like is for you.
Would the council be able to help with some paid childcare? I have a friend who is a childminder and our council used to help with circumstances like these.
