Its been very wet today! Went into town though. Quite spendy really
Paid the cheque in the bank and some change (Got shouted at because I had more than 5 bagsOpps)
Spent £3.62 in the card shop planned spend.
Spent £18.20 in Asda .. This wasn't planned, only went in for potatoes and milk  Got mugs and chicken and random Xmas treats reduced to 25p and some PJ's for the girls down to £1.50 for 2 pairs! A jumper for myself from £12.50 to £2! Opps!
Coffee £2.60
Oh dear!
It was nice to get out alone though. Scoped out some things I want to do with the smalls, although they aren't free“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Anyway back home and I've confessed my sins :rotfl:
Smalls are fed, bathed and in bed. I really feel like I've had a 'day off'
I think I'll do something with chicken leftovers for my dinner - worked up an appetite with all the walking.
Cumbria work starts Thursday but my smalls school isn't back until Monday so I don't know how that's going to work! Youngest won't be back at school for at least another 2-3 weeks depending how quickly she steps down on the support she's needing to breathe. I'm really struggling to find someone available who will look after her“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
You got some real bargains though Wannabe so don't feel too bad and it's always good to get a cheque paid in :T. What a mean person in the bank to tell you off though .Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Just catching up with all the Xmas news. Sounds like you had a lovely one.
Really hope your smallest continues to improve and that you can sort out work.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉0 -
I'm so pleased you got out and enjoyed your shopping and coffee - glad you bought yourself something
Hope you get something sorted with childcare, could their dad mind them or is he working. I was lucky when mine were little, they used to go to my mum in the school holidays.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
He's working too, goes back tomorrow.
My Mum works and wouldn't commit to having youngest on her own. I'm not sure what will happen yet as it isn't for an odd day either it's for at least 2-3 weeks and its quite likely to be longer
It was nice to be out today though. The amount of homeless in town surprised me, I don't think I've ever seen so many. Me and the older two will do something 'giving' for them this weekend - no doubt food related as it won't 'cost' me“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -

Wow your bargains were amazing. I wish I had spotted stuff like that.
And I hope you get childcare sorted. I am going to have to take two of mine to work tomorrow with me because I have no one to look after them. I hope you get something sorted for the 2-3 weeks.0 -
Childcare is stressing me out
and I know I'll have this problem again in a few weeks when my half term is a different week to smalls half term. Boo!
Asda had loads of bargains Mofk. Shoes down to £2 adults and kids, underwear/clothes from £1. I could have picked up so much more!
I think its the childcare issue more than anything but feeling quite anxious today/this evening and like a huge weight on my shouldersEscaping for the day was good but soon felt the cloud when I got back home.
