It must be so hard for you. Come September if the consultant still advises shielding for your youngest could you ask for a letter explaining it to the elder children’s schools.

I did see mention of different rules re school for families that need to shield one member.  Understand that this is a worry, but can you imagine the uproar if some juggins tried to insist on all your children going back to school and the media got hold of it?! Can you talk to the school and maybe your MP, with letter from consultant to hand?  I'm an excellent campaigner and complainer and will happily take up the fight for you if you'd let me and not feel invaded? It's not that you won't make a splendid job of it, more a question of time.  Love Humdinger x

I think the longer you shield and keep her safe the better until it’s safe to return to normal. The schools will have to understand your situation is rather different to other people’s.

Try to take one day at a time honey, and don't look too far ahead.  It will all get sorted out eventually and all the worrying in the world won't change anything.

Glad that the new meds seem to be helping littlest.  Hopefully they can come up with something that will also help the side effects. (((hugs))) to all of you.  XX

Still here. Still really struggling to get washing dry. Where has all this rain come from! I'm hoping it stays dry today but its not stopped rained for what feels like forever!

It would be nice to have some weather warmer and drier than we have now but not as hot as it had been.....
It’s good to hear you are ok. Hope the children are keeping busy and filling their time whilst you are still shielding. Take care 👍

We are still filling the days with school work milann. Although we do less than an actual school day and do it 7 days rather than 5. 

Between school/cleaning and washing i don't know how we ever had time before to fit in everything. 

Still have the weekly shopping slot until October. I checked with them. I really want it to be something I manage to keep. They are all so much happier with a better variety of 'fresh' food. 

I'm just waiting for the bedding to dry so I can get into bed.

It should be a lot easier to get online slots by October so you could still keep it going. It will save you some precious time. Glad the little ones are thriving on the variety of food.

I've been getting on line deliveries from both Tesco and Iceland and it's much easier now.
