Morning WB
Hope you posting means you didn't have to pawn the phone. I know how much you use it for different things.
I'm the tight parent who bought their first school photo then never bothered again. I just used to take my own on their first and last day of school for growth comparisons lol. I see them everyday so I know what they look like. :rotfl:
Has the £100 got to cover everything on the list or will some more money be coming in during the month from child benefit/surveys etc. to ease the strain.
The holiday will be here before you know it.xx

I do need my phone Tea it does everything at home Tv/internet along with the only way school/nurses etc can contact me and the only way I can contact them.
The £94 left has to cover the whole listNo more money in until the end of October. I won't buy the school photo. I just keep the proofs and take pictures myself
Cannot wait till the holiday 22 days to go“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -

Hi
Not sure if you are aware and on the best tarriffs.
Your local water authority will have a special rate for families with medical needs that use extra water for washing etc., It is just a phone call to senior ad visor .
The same again for utilities theres a Macmillan tariff/equivalent. You are set xx amount any thing above this agreed figure is written off. So patient keeps warm and healthy as they tend to feal the cold more as their body does not adjust because they are poorly/treatment. We are with E power.
Hope this informaton helps.
In our area Milton Keynes we also have two charities
there maybe similar ones in your area.
Baby basics upto 6years
Storehouse (clothes /shoes for adults and children plus local school uniforms.
The Salvation army may know of similar and can refer your family/
or nurse specialist/gp/consultant. They may know of transport to medical appointments.
You do know if you take receipts with form from clinic/consultant you can claim back travel expenses. covers bus/taxi/petrol/parking its worked out by hospital general office.
Andrea pm me if I can help (Tuna the cat)0 -
That's another tight month then
Where are the DLA waiting times up to in your area these days. Are they still struggling with backlogs or are they managing to bring some forward a bit?
If you can claim some travel back like Tuna suggested that would help unless you've got it covered in the £54 bus pass.
22 days until your holiday must also mean only 22 days until half term! Blimey they've only just gone back and they're breaking up again soon. :rotfl: xx0 -
Morning
Everyone in school
DS had an amazing time awaythere's some wonderful pictures been sent over to me. He looked like he enjoyed every second. He was glad to be home though.
Have meal planned and shopped over the weekend. £39 spent. Other than the fresh things (bread/milk/veg/salad) we have a meal plan until we go away. Then when we arrive there will have to do a meal plan and shop for the week we are away.

That's looking good Wannabe! Does DS have the travel bug now?
Not long till your holiday. :j:j:jI think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Tuna glad you replied. I was looking for you x
The water is already on a capped tariff
The electric/gas is still the cheapest on comparison sites etc. I have actually got some credit in there but with the monthly bill being a new thing I want to get past the coldest months before changing it as I don't want to build a debt up.
I've never successfully got travel back for appointments as they don't cover the 4 of us. Only youngest (who was under 5 and free until a few months ago) and mine is a direct debit monthly pass. The hospital transport we have used a few times but again they only allocate 2 seats. One for me and one for youngest and it very rarely fits in around school timesI will look into it all again though especially for the one in the city just before we go away. It would be a big help.
