Hope you can get something back for the travel, even if it's not for all of you."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

The water is already on a capped tariff
The electric/gas is still the cheapest on comparison sites etc. I have actually got some credit in there but with the monthly bill being a new thing I want to get past the coldest months before changing it as I don't want to build a debt up.
I've never successfully got travel back for appointments as they don't cover the 4 of us. Only youngest (who was under 5 and free until a few months ago) and mine is a direct debit monthly pass. The hospital transport we have used a few times but again they only allocate 2 seats. One for me and one for youngest and it very rarely fits in around school timesI will look into it all again though especially for the one in the city just before we go away. It would be a big help.

Not another school trip, they seem to be endless! Shame you can't go as a helper if it's somewhere you'd like to go. Glad you're on a countdown to holiday, it will do you all good.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Just catching up. So pleased DS enjoyed his trip away. Did he wear everything after all that stress, or did he come home in what he went in like mine both did :rotfl:

Thank you
Evening.
Still feeling a bit meh. Nothing much to say. Working on bits in the background to move etc and it's all just so unsettling.
Budget wise. Things need to change. It's so depressing. It really feels like groundhog day.
Food/everything else £39 left (nearly £6 spent since last update. Taxi to the gp for unexpected appointments and antibiotics sorted)
