Hi WB
It's all looking under control which is brilliant. Just don't let the HA try to bully you into paying more than you can afford when you have to start the re-payments. From what you've said before they're like little dogs nipping at your ankles
It's great that the holiday is paid for and travel etc. is covered so I can understand the excitement of counting down the days when you've no money to find - just something to look forward to pure and simple
It's only because snacks have been mention that I'm thinking mine didn't buy any but they could take a piece of fruit in if they wanted. Is it for break time and does it cover all 3 of them? I bought DD 3 tangerines yesterday and it cost me 96p! I nearly fell over. So if it's a piece of fruit x 3 every day the cost isn't far out.
Have a lovely day. xx0 -
It’s disgusting to make folk wait that long for the appeal - I really hoped you’d have it for the holidays so you could have some extra treats...makes me so mad.
I hope you manage to find a school to take all 3 of them and it doesn’t involve a lot of travelling - but most of all you are all happy.January spends - £587.580 -
I know you've been unhappy with the school for a while so it sounds like the right decision. I hope the school you want will have places for them. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Thank you all
TF it's probably a little generous the school other budget but I'm trying to fit uniforms/coats and shoes in there's.
Tea I'm quite upset about the new rent arrears debt but it is what is and I'm still grateful it's come at a time when I'm in a much better place than I was. I'm really looking forward to the holiday. I really am.
School snack is £1 each per week. They can't take their own. It is different every day from waffles/pancakes/biscuits/chedders/brioche etc. They also get a piece of fruit.
I'm hoping to get them in to a school together although I'd take just moving the girls if they got the same one as DS only has 1 year left (even though the latest incident was with him)
thank you again for all your replies x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Can only imagine how frustrating/upsetting it is to finally get on top of everything only for you to end up back in arrears again when it's not your fault.
Regarding the school move, even if DS does stay where he is for his final year, at least you won't have to deal with the school again with your DD's who still have quite a few years to go. xx0 -
Would you have to drop off at 2 schools or could ds go by himself since he’ll be in his last year?January spends - £587.580

Morning
Hardly any sleep again. My anxiety is high and I'm struggling again to control it. Feels like a constant roller coaster. There's always something to worry about. I just want it to be smooth goingI realise my problems aren't as bad as some others but it doesn't seem to snap me out of it. I just want to be able to plod along on a level - I'm happy the budget now allows for this and it's much better than when we had £5 a week for food etc. I'm really grateful for all the help I have received to get me to where I am and I don't want to look like I'm not because I really am. It's going to be a long wait to the 25th of July and I'm hoping that eases some of my worry. I constantly feel like I just get to the light at the end of the tunnel and I'm dragged back in deeply again. Wondering when will it be time for it to just be okay
Anyway
Yes Milann it will mean 2 school drop offs and pick ups if they are in different schools. I wouldn't let DS walk alone round here.
No plans today. Have some cleaning need doing that will keep me busy.
Hope you're all okay and have a lovely day.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
I'm sorry to hear that your anxiety is high. You probably can't see what an amazing job you do on such little money. I couldn't do it, that's for sure!
I'm glad you are moving schools as well. Hopefully this will bring you a bit of relief in another area of your life as that school sounds like a constant nightmare.
Sorry to bring up money again but are you still paying off the court costs?
Keep going, Wannabe. The darkest hour is before dawn and I'm sure that's a chink of light I see over the horizon!Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

Morning WB
Hope the anxiety levels are subsiding and the sunshine is going some way to making you feel a bit better.
It must feel like you're running a race and every time you see the finish line somebody moves it.I'd be equally frustrated tbh and I can imagine being in the position of having to pay off arrears again must make you feel really fed up but keep in mind it's nothing you've done, it's the system.
Have a lovely day. xx0 -
Morning Wannabe. I'm very sorry the anxiety has returned. I know just a few days ago you were feeling a lot better so I'm thinking maybe the combination of waiting for 25th July and having to plan for a change in schools is causing stress. Are there any small things you could do that would help you feel in control, like timing the new school walk?
Of course I might be right off course there and there may be other things going on, so I'm sending hugs and warm wishes and hope the day gets better. xI think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
