Morning W
I thought I was good at shopping and using every single piece of food but I am a mere amateur compared to you. I am truly amazed at what you manage on such a tiny budget.
Dismal day here north of the border and I have to go out. I'm meeting a niece of my Ex. She's home on holiday from abroad. I haven't seen her in over thirty years. Hope everything goes OK.
Have a good day.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
I really admire your planning and prep on a tight budget."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Meal prep sounds good.
Raining here today but hopefully sun will be around again before the weekend so you might get out with the smalls :jJanuary spends - £587.580 -
Afternoon.
Thank you for all the repliesI am quite happy with the meal plan/food budget now. £100 a month is definitely where I find the balance of being okay/struggling if it's less.
It's been a busy morning. We where running late from our first appointment and was very near late for our second. Stressful! It's raining but warm so I can guarantee I looked a huge mess when we eventually arrived (just on time. Not late though!)
Youngest has gone into school for the afternoon now. They are having photos and things ready for moving up a year. So I can get stuff done I need to do.
Hope you all have a very happy Monday
Will be back later when I have more time to sit and read properly
Thank you again

Hi WB
You do really well to manage on £100 per month and still eat healthily :T I can't believe how many meals you've managed to prep over the weekend.
Aww, moving up photos, how sweet. All being well will DD be returning to school in the new term?
It's pouring down here and I have a mountain of washing that needs to be dried
Have a lovely day. xx0 -
Evening
Well that's Monday done. It's been so busy! I feel like I haven't had chance to sit down.
Smalls are all fed bathed and in bed. Youngest is waiting for me to read to her.
Thank you Tea. I think £100 sounds a lot but I really don't think I can make it less
Youngest hopefully will be doing part time in September. I really want to home ed still but I just don't think the time is quite right with all the appointments etc.
The rain stopped but it's been so warm and weird!
Tomorrow is shopping day. My list is ready.
Hope you're all well. Will try and catch up with some diaries once youngest is asleep!

£100 isn't too much for a growing family, you do really well to keep to budget but then I guess you don't have much choice.
I think school photo prices are extortionate, I always feel obliged to buy one of my GD, the last one I bought was £13.50 and the quality was appalling, I've taken better on my phone. Hopefully it won't be too expensive for you.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
I don't think £100 is a lot for 4 of you and I certainly wouldn't be trying to cut down on that if I could help it. DD going to school part time sounds ideal for you and her. It does sound like it's been a busy day for you with appointments etc. Hope you're sat down with your feet up and a brew. xx0
