  • What an industrious day! The portions of soup and curry sound good. Glad you had a good day at the park.

Making the most of my energy while it's here :o youngest is just dosing off. So it's not as late as it has been. Amazing how just a few extra hours of sleep help. Plus the weather :)

    Good morning :)

Everyone's up and eating breakfast so catching 5 minutes before I'm needed.

It's still dry and a little sun peaking through. I think it's supposed to be dry till later so might make the most of that and get some cleaning in the garden done. Will also have a pile of ironing to do later so will need to get that done.

The only other thing on the to do list is to turn the mince into meals. I'll also make some flapjack for pack lunches why the ovens on. Then there should definitely be enough snacks for this week. It's actually quite busy between appointments with youngest and school but it's all planned out and fits in.

Hope you all have a happy Sunday

    Thank you :)

Hope you had a lovely holiday TF

Thank you MatyMoo that's a good idea.

I've wrote this weeks shopping list and switched some bits of the meal plan around. It's mainly fruit/veg. Then bread, milk and eggs.

Smalls are playing outside. I got some of the cleaning done out there. Just having a cuppa before I go and remake all the beds now that's washed and ironed.

Hope you're all having a good day

Best to try and hold off taking an advance unless you really have to - some good advice as always from Beanie. What a pain though just as you'd got on top of everything.

You do absolutely brilliantly with your meal plans and cooking all fresh healthy good on such a limited budget - no food waste in your house :)

    Evening :)

Smalls fed, bathed and in bed. Just having a cuppa before I clean the floors and go and settle youngest.

Got the cooking/baking done. Some more ready meals into the freezer. 6 Bolognese, 6 chilli and 4 lasagne. With lasagne left out for tomorrow evening. Used the last of the vegetables in the sauces and will use the last of the salad between the lunches for tomorrow and lasagne tomorrow evening. List is ready for Tuesday. £20.04 including a whole chicken, fruit, veg, yogurts, bread, eggs and milk.

Meal plan is done and up on the wall for the smalls to look over.

Everything's ready for morning just need to clean the floors and I'll be happy :)

The rain is here now but we managed to spend the majority of the day outside and the smalls even got to play with some friends.

Hope you've all had a lovely Sunday
