Smalls at school
Meal plan done. Just need some salad things/milk and bread at the start of next week. The child benefit will cover this and the weekly bills (water and school snack)
Youngest has had another med added to the list so need to go and pick that up now.

Morning WB
You really sound on top of things and know which way you want to go with it all, so I hope it works out for you.
Hope DD2 has managed to get some school time in this week and is enjoying being back there.
We have sunshine too today, surrounded by big black cloudsHave a great day. xx

I really feel on top of everything tea. Everything finally sorted and going out when it can be paid etc is such a huge weight lifted. Apart from the rent I can't do anything about. But no more bouncing direct debits for anything else etc. No being without electricity/gas. It feels amazing. I know we can manage on the £100 a month grocery/everything else budget hence why I really want to avoid the advance from universal credit. I really don't think we could sustain a grocery/everything else budget of £50 a month it's just not realistic for 10 consecutive months.
Have been and picked youngests new meds up. She's not going to be impressed with another lot to take.

I'm not sure if you realise just how positive you're coming across, but reading that you feel on top of everything is just fabulous. After everything you've gone through I did wonder if having to change to UC would have a negative impact on you, but obviously not :T:T
I can understand you not wanting to 'borrow' any money especially if repayments would have to come out of your grocery budget and if you think you can get through the next few weeks good for you.But like EE has said don't rule out having to borrow a little bit if you need to.
You've come a long way since Christmas. Well done. xx0 -
So good to hear you sounding positive :beer:January spends - £587.580

Thank you
it's such a nicer feeling.
I am quite worried about the rent arrears I'll have after the 5 weeks. I'm pretty sure it's 8 weeks arrears needed before there's court action though? They won't discuss repayments etc until it's happened so I can't decide if committing to the advance repayments of £50 and a grocery budget of £50 a month will be better than what the housing ask for towards the arrears. So hard because I know £50 a month for food and everything else is unrealistic for 10 whole months (especially as it will be over winter plus the holiday plus Xmas plus all 3 smalls birthday)
Anyway today was a NSDGot out for a walk and picked up youngest new things from the pharmacy. Older two are in bed and I'm going to get youngest settled now I've done my chores etc.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend

I can only say I think that £50 a month on food ect for any length of time is totally unsustainable. xI am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. So the only income you will have until the UC kicks in is the child benefit? Have I got that right? x
