Hi Wannabe, I just wanted to say I had a random allergic reaction like that a few years ago, hives all up and down my body. I had about two weeks of steroids and antihistamines, was perfectly fine afterwards and have not had any after effects. Still have no idea what I'm allergic to or even if I'm actually allergic to anything - I was told at the hospital not to worry, apparently sometimes our bodies just randomly do this and it's usually just a one off thing that will never happen again. x

    Hello W

Hope DS gets better soon. I really don't understand why schools do these things. I'm sure it never happened when my son was at school. That was a long time ago, though.

i just wondered if ds ate his sesame cake in the dining room - although the children are not supposed to share foods they often do. And they think we are just being mean when we ask them not to....
    Hope he’s feeling better.

He isn't any worse, he actually feels okay just itchy! It just looks awful.

The cake was given out just before home time. It was brought in by someone for their birthday instead of sweets.

Today has just been awful and I'm ready for bed.

All the hassle with DS. Youngest had some unsatisfactory results today and now we now have a different specialist appointment next Thursday. I appreciate they have fit her in so quickly but it's still a week to worry.

I just want to go to bed :o

Anyway food shop done etc and we can have a lazy weekend. DS has a party on Sunday (if he's better) but I'm hoping one of the other parents will take him and bring him home.

Skint, tired and worried sums up today.

Sorry to hear today hasn't been the best. :( Fingers crossed DS's hives will clear up over the next couple of days in time for the party. It would be a shame if he had to miss out on that.

I've seen how stressful waiting for appointments and results can be for parents. Let's hope the next week passes quickly for you so you can start on the next part of the journey with DD.

Try not to worry too much which is easier said than done I know. :o Hope you have a quiet night and a relaxing weekend. xx
