That's brilliant - about time you had some good news. It's going to make quite a difference, isn't it? Maybe even bring the date of youngest's new equipment forward?
Well done for opening the post by the way. That can't have been easy.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Some good news at last.

Glad today's post was better couldn't handle anything else now
In true 'me' style in a panic I applied for every credit application available (all obviously declined don't panic) I've sat and meal planned down to the penny. I'm going to go back to he very basics - skint myself and pay the court costs off over the next 9 weeks. Providing they will let me do this and it's not too late. I just can't cope with the worry any longer. I'm making myself unwell. I'm taking out on the kids and generally just hate waking up every daywhich I realise sounds stupid to many.
Please don't all leave me if you don't agree with me I hope you stick around. Once it's all sorted I'm sure here will be a much happier place to hang around. I understand if you don't agree with me and don't want to stick around now/after it's paid but I just have to do what's best for us - and right now this is it.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Aw so sorry you have come home to this, hugs and I don't imagine anyone will be going anywhere - you have a lot of people supporting you. You are doing your best for your wee family, thats very clear
Please make sure you get back to your appointments and taking care of yourself as well so you are able to be there for your smalls. x0 -
I'm sure it's not a case of people not agreeing WB, it's your decision what to do with your money and for your family.
Am I understanding your plan right though? At the moment you're paying £5 every week to the court costs and if you don't mind me saying, things still don't seem easy for you financially. But now you want to pay £53 every week for 9 weeks. How skint will you actually be leaving yourself. What if something crops up, even something at school like non uniform days etc. Would you be able to cover that sort of thing still and can you always go back to just paying £5 again? xx0 -
No one is going to leave your thread WF. We are all here to help/listen/guide, but ultimately you need to do whatever’s best for you and the smalls.
(That said, I still think you should try to hold off making any big decisions until after you’ve spoken to everyone involved on Monday).

Definitely not going to leave you. I can understand why you want the court costs gone asap but please don't leave yourself short. xxxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0

I can't make a definite decision until I've spoken to them and they agree to allow me to pay weekly anyway. Right now I had 10 working days from the 28th Feb to pay in full to prevent the further steps. None of them say agree a payment plan.
Best case scenario for me. They agree to let me pay weekly.
It will look like ..
Weekly Out
£99.10 to rent goes down in april
£55 to Court costs
£25.60 to this years council tax goes down in april
£15 Gas
£15 Electric
£11.40 Water
£2.50 TV License
£2.50 for phone credit
£3 Snack
Leaves £20 now £44 in April for everything else.
I've meal planned we will manage and not starve. I've not left anything for emergencies. If one happens I'll deal with it.
It doesn't make a huge difference to the budget after it's paid as ive only been paying £5. However. It makes a massive difference to ME and where I feel right now something needs to happen.
They might not even agree. I've no idea what it will mean if it does go to bailiffs I'm not even thinking about it. I'm going to call monday. Explain and hope they understand and except. If not I'll have to deal with what they say then.
As I said I'm worried about too much. I need closure on something to allow other things (not mse nor money to be sorted) the whole point of everything the last few months was to feel secure and sort my MH. We've had some major blows over the last 2 weeks we need to think about and this is just making it impossible for me to do what I need to as a parent.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
And thank you
All of you
