Reading the DLA letters and the reasons why they made the decision they did just makes me even more mad they refused it. Theres a date on there from the tribunal service but I don't know if that's the appeal hearing date or a date for when any extra information needs to be sent in. Going to call them Monday too so I know it's definitely moving forward.

Court costs. Wondering if I pay my remaining bank balance after getting g the gas/electric and food over makes me look like I admit I've broken the agreement again rather than it hopefully being a mistake? Good job I don't have my credit card still or I'd have definitely put it on there in a situation like this :o

Freezer update - binned some ice cream and ice lollies as they'd definitely melted and had received frozen out of shape but everything else seems okay.

Still feeling sorry for myself :o wondering why so much rubbish keeps landing at my feet. I was already struggling myself with things going on with youngest and lots to think and worry about. Then this. Wish they'd just be a break and I could have some 'peace' and sleep.

The last of my million posts this morning.

I've done my coffee now and going to do some more cleaning and things so I'll be quiet :o

I pour it out here because I feel I have such a huge weight on my shoulders. Feel like I've been given the information needed to know we should be making memories and doing what we can. Being happy and there's a lot to worry about not money/debt related and the uncertainty of what the future will bring.

This is just added on top and I feel already so close to 'the edge' I read back and realise how stupid most of my posts sound. I feel like I'm failing in more ways than one and that this is just the latest thing that over shadows what I should be focusing on and worrying about. My head is so upside down.

Please know I appreciate everything I have received from here. The messages of support in the most needed time. The 'physical' help. Every reply I log on to. The help on where I can make things better.

I feel like I log in every time to moan about something. There's just no 'light' at the end of the tunnel. As soon as it's there it's pushed back into darkness and I realise a lot of this is my MH making me feel like it but then I just don't have the time or head space to work on 'me' while focusing on so many other things. This isn't just about the court that's just the 'latest' thing on the list.

I will now log off and ramble all this to myself while cleaning. No doubt when I log in later edit loads of it out and 'regret' spilling so much out on to here :o but where else is there when I don't have anyone other than the smalls.. who are amazing but definitely not at listening to stuff like this.

Crumbs, what a situation to come home to. :( I do think Toni'sfriend may be right, though - it could well be lack of communication between the departments. I wouldn't jump in with overpayments until you've spoken to them. Till then keep paying you usual amount, and hopefully it's all a mistake and nothing needs to change.

I do think you've made enormous strides with the Court costs already - you've paid off more the two thirds, and you'll get there with the rest.

I'm glad you have at least heard something from the DLA. Eventually that too will be sorted.

    Sending a big hug x

I hate to slate any organisations but I swear your landlord has no clue - everything they have done and continue to do regarding your rent account is incorrect and causes you untold stress. Unfortunately fear of losing your home prevents you calling them out on it.

I dont believe for one minute you are behind on your court order as you cleared your rent arrears in full recently when they still had 2 years to run at the court agreed amount of £12.50pw so legally you are not behind on any order.

What has happened is some jobsworth has noticed the reduced payments and issued a letter - if they took you to court for this I would be challenging it on the grounds that you have not breached your order because you havent, in fact you are ahead by about 12 months.

I cross posted with you, sorry. Please keep on 'talking' on here, even if you delete it later. Believe me, you don't come across at all moany. You're just not that sort of person. Stressed, yes, but that's perfectly natural.

Good idea to phone about double checking with DLA.

I don't think you're feeling sorry for yourself. It just isn't fair that you try so hard and still things seem to go wrong. But look how far you've come, all the things you've achieved, all the really difficult situations you've overcome and see what a strong lady you are. xxxx

    Re: DLA

If a Mandatory Reconsideration is refused you can still send in further evidence and ask them to look at it again before you appeal.
Once you have appealed you cannot ask for the MR to be looked at again.

MP's can only look into matters before an appeal is lodged as once an appeal is lodged due process has to be followed.

I think everyone has been so helpful on this page and offered suggestions and yes it is unfair but as WF says, there are so many worse off than her that are going through the same and it would not be right for anyone to queue jump.

WF - always happy to have PM's or contact me on my number (I cant contact you as dont have your number as changed phones)

If you want to scan or photograph the DLA letter and send it to me by email or WA then I'll give you the answer you need so you don't have to wait until Monday

If the letter from DLA has a date on it is very unlikely to be the hearing date as this letter will come direct from HMCTS in Birmingham.

EE I was going to drop you a text a couple of weeks ago when I received the notice from the MR but knew you had a lot on so didn't want to bother you.

The latest letter is from the court it has in what DWP decided and why but there's still quite a lot on it that doesn't really make sense (like it's the total opposite not just a little bit wrong in the terms of her issues)

I will pop to the library as soon as I can find someone to sit with her and email them over to you if you don't mind?

Can I just ask when it says any extra evidence can't be 'new or showing things are worse' than when the decision was made is that the original decision? Or the decision from the MR? I'm assuming all the very latest results of things can't be included then? And is still best to have 2 copies of any of the new evidence or do I just need to send it directly to the tribunal service now?

    Sorry for all the questions

Morning WB. Glad to hear you're all settled back at home.

When you say it's been 5 weeks since you've paid £5 do you mean you've not paid court costs for 5 weeks or is this all connected to the rent you supposedly owe?

Sounds like EE will be able to put your mind at rest sooner rather than later :) Hope you manage to get the stuff e-mailed at some point. xx
