It will probably be emptied 10 times over before I get a bed on 'kid stuff' I should call it 'first thing that crops up fund' :rotfl:

Disagree with this.
A bed for you is important.
Once this years council tax is paid you can add a bit more to it every weekx

Birthday cake sounds like an excellent snack
Would go down well with a coffee
Probably better to get a double bed to stretch out in, also would mean room for one of the smalls if they have a bad night and need their mum
Loving it that your diary is sounding so positive nowI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
It makes me feel really guilty Beanie
That it's just for me

Totally agree with SA on this one... and also with beanie, having spent a few years without a bed I definitely know just how important it is to have a comfortable and safe place to sleep.
Go for the double, as it is definitely worth that £20 more.

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Bed Fund £21.50 (Have put my birthday money to this didn't spend any on travel yesterday so all 'me funds' in here.)
Bank balance needs to cover -
Food around £25
Pharmacy £7
Travel - 3 appointments next week
Could also do with picking smalls some polo tops up for school from the supermarket. Will have a look. Pretty sure we have other things on next week too.
As I said I've seen a bed it isn't a single though! It's a double, with headboard and mattress it's £149 delivered. It's 'only' £20 more than a single with the same mattress. I will still look around while saving up but the mattress today just felt perfect! I'm not fussy though. So will probably settle for single and cheaper
BUT for now I'm setting this as my goal for the bed. I'll do the bedding/pillows/duvet and curtains next. We all need something to aim for eh!
Please, please get the double - morning cuddles with the smalls will be a bit of a squeeze in a single:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
