Good afternoon
Sorry for the quietness, it's been a hectic week really. I slept so well last night though and so did the smalls! We even had a lay in this morning
Today has been a NSD and we won't be going anywhere to spend this afternoon so declaring it early. We might go for a walk to the park but of course it's free.
Need to plan something for dinner. We had a lovely curry last night. Smalls set the table and we all sat together and spoke about stuff. It made me realise how much I'd been letting this slip, wandering off to do something/sitting on my phone etc
I didn't go on the train yesterday but I did get out (for a very long walk and I'm definitely feeling it today) Visited somewhere I hadn't been and was on my to do list for far too long. It was a lovely walk and it stayed dry!
Thank you for all the messages, cards etc

We had a lovely walk. Went in to a local bed shop to look and have a bed in mind. It was so comfy I could have fell asleep in his shop :rotfl:
Haven't done much really. The usual cleaning and things. Smalls have had dinner, bathed and are now in bed.
I still feel tired and like I could join themDespite having such a long sleep lastnight!

Bank Balance - £73.67
Bed Fund £21.50 (Have put my birthday money to this didn't spend any on travel yesterday so all 'me funds' in here.)
Bank balance needs to cover -
Food around £25
Pharmacy £7
Travel - 3 appointments next week
Could also do with picking smalls some polo tops up for school from the supermarket. Will have a look. Pretty sure we have other things on next week too.
As I said I've seen a bed it isn't a single though! It's a double, with headboard and mattress it's £149 delivered. It's 'only' £20 more than a single with the same mattress. I will still look around while saving up but the mattress today just felt perfect! I'm not fussy though. So will probably settle for single and cheaper
BUT for now I'm setting this as my goal for the bed. I'll do the bedding/pillows/duvet and curtains next. We all need something to aim for eh!

Having something to aim for is good and while getting rid of debt is a good aim finding yourself in a position where you can save up for something you want is even better
