Also worth a look at the bed stores online - sometimes their offers are as good or better than elsewhere. My first bed was a last of their stock and a really good deal, the current one was a ridiculous deal that included bed, mattress, bedding and covers. The spare bed is a Swedish effort and was probably about the same price in total - I think the mattress is better quality than the bed store ones, but it's the only Swedish thing I have had to take apart four times while putting it together, it had me flummoxed!

Careful with Ikea if you're buying bedding / duvets as their sizings aren't universal. We have what I'd call a 'normal' king size duvet (can't remember where we bought it) and I bought an Ikea king size duvet set thinking it'd be fine and it didn't fit. Was a pain (and waste of fuel!) having to drive all the way back to get a refund. Heard lots of good things about primarni. Also check out tkm4xx as you might get some cheaper 100% cotton sets there - whatever you end up buying will need to be robust to deal with your daily washing habit0

They also stuck banners up they made and had made cards. They also made a gift out of paper and card (we have been reading Hansel and Gretal so they made the gingerbread house)

That sounds lovely Wannabe, what clever children you have.

I haven't had chance to catch up properly or read other diaries as it's been a busy day. Then once the smalls got home we did the usual things and put a movie on and all fell asleep
Hope everyone's okay I will catch up tomorrow
