Bank Balance - £29.07
Bed Fund £21.50 (Have put my birthday money to this didn't spend any on travel yesterday so all 'me funds' in here.)
- £10 - cash out for taxis
- £8.65 - Coffee & 3 cold drinks
- £10.55 - Coffee, 2 cold drinks, 2 smalls breakfast
- £15.40 - Coffee, 2 cold drinks , 2 smalls lunches & snack for smallest
Bank balance needs to cover -
Food around £25
Pharmacy around £7
Travel - 3 appointments next week + at least 1 more now.
Will need to go back to the pharmacy tomorrow for the rest of the Dex as they could only send one dose home with us this evening.
Not looking forward to the side effects - will make some snacks for youngest and pick a loaf of bread up ready for the toast requests.

P.S
Grab bags moved from the wardrobe to right beside the front door in the 'coat' cupboard. Not forgetting them again! They have basic snacks and bottled drinks in. So even if there isn't time to add more there is basics!

Glad to hear you're all home. Children can go downhill so quickly when they're poorly even without underlying problems.
We went out for a couple of hours once when DD was 7 months old while Mum looked after her. Came home and within a couple of hours we were on a hospital ward for 5 days.
Good move re. the grab bags. Finger crossed you get to see somebody at the hospital sooner rather than later. Have as restful a night as you can. xx0 -
Poor wee soul.
Poor you.

Scary all round but glad you are home and hope you get an appt for DD sooner rather than later.
I think its shocking how expensive drinks and food are in hospital shops, even the RVS ones. When OH was in and I stayed in his room for three weeks, spent so much on food and decent coffees.
Hope you can all have a rest now and get some sleep though I know you'll have an eye on DD.0 -
Glad you are all home, fingers crossed for a better night and a quick appointment for smallest.
Rosa xxI think its shocking how expensive drinks and food are in hospital shops, even the RVS ones. When OH was in and I stayed in his room for three weeks, spent so much on food and decent coffees.
I was horrified at what was on offer last time I was in one. Not just expensive, but unhealthy - sugary drinks and crisps. With actually nothing I could eat because they all had gluten in - which was annoying for me, but much more difficult if you've got a hungry little one there who also can't eat what's on show.Debt free May 2016... Thank you, my anxiety is high
So I'm not sure about sleep or even sitting still
However older smalls are fed and in bed., youngest still on the sofa - will probably leave her there.
It was so expensiveTo be honest though I didn't need 3 coffees
. The smalls did need drinks and food though as I woke them at 2.30am and didn't even give them chance to grab a drink/food. It was dressed and straight out the door.
Makes me realise how lucky I am though that this didn't happen just a week ago or I don't know what I'd have done
Will add the 'bed fund' back into the budget this week. Will try and get as little as possible on the weekly shop and make the meal plan different. Travel costs will be a killer this week along with anything else cost wise with these appointments. I will take drinks/snacks though.
Also have parents evening this week!
So I think
Monday - Pharmacy, food shop - community nurse home visit
Tuesday - Appointment 1 - After school clubs - parent's evening - CN Home visit
Wednesday - Appointment 2 - After school clubs
Thursday - School Disco - CN Home Visit
Friday - Appointment 3 - I'm sure there's something else too“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
