£2.80 on coffee :o which I didn't need to spend.

Virgin was more than I had set aside. It's more than I expected but apparently it covered more days or something. Anyway that's the last payment to them it's cancelled now.

Glad to hear you bought yourself a coffee, it's easy to get out of the habit of treating ourselves but we all deserve a little something every now and then :)

Ouch to the Virgin bill. Big difference between £7.50 and £48.14  Has that wiped you out again for the week? On the positive side, as ever :rotfl: at least your budget is looking better for the coming weeks.

Hope the smalls have all had a good week at school. Can't believe it's weekend again! xx

Tea town was weird being there on my own for nothing. It's dire there now. I don't think it's somewhere that can be described as a nice place to visit anymore. Might have to visit one of the other towns for coffee next time.

Thank you for all the replies, it's such a good feeling to know everything is going to be okay.

Onto other news both DS and youngest brought trip letters home. DS's is £99! He says he understands if he can't go but if he can he'd like too. Its £25 to reserve his place and then the rest can be paid over the next 2 months. DD's is £10.15 (why are they always such random amounts?) No doubt DD1 will have a trip soon  Might as well make it all of them!

Anyway they had a good week in school and are all very happy it's weekend. They are fed, bathed and playing in their rooms.

I've lifted some meat out the freezer (I really don't know what it is :o) and will make it into casserole and pie for over the weekend using up the last of last weeks veg/potatoes and some soup.

    Happy Friday

  • £99 for a trip!! Hope it’s at least residential for that. Do you qualify for free school meals? Even though DS2 has a packed lunch (because he doesn’t like the food at school :(), he still qualifies for the pupil premium which covers trips, so he goes free. I know you’ve not had good results with your school, but could you try asking again about this one? Xx

I would of thought as well that if your school is an academy DS would qualify for pupil premium so trips would be free .

£99 is a lot to find extra in 2 months.
