Hi W, well done on clearing the CC. :j:beer::j:T
Sorry to hear about the shoes, I've always had to order clothes etc for DS online to collect as they just don't have the full range available in the shop & ours is a massive asda.
Glad the teacher was reasonable about it, tbh it doesn't really matter for one day but understand how worried poor DD was.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. That's a rubbish start to the day WB.
I can understand you being cross at DD but when the dust has settled it leaves us feeling bad doesn't it.
Shame about the shoes after putting the effort into going, but at least the teacher was understanding.
The CT arrears are moving quickly. Won't be long before you're just concentrating on the rent arrears.
I'm sure the day will only get better, so have a good one. x0 -
I'm sorry about DD1 needing school shoes
. Uniform is so expensive. I'm glad she didn't get into trouble at school for not having the right shoes on.
I would have been cross about the milk too.
Your finances are looking much better otherwise though, I'm sure it must be helping you to feel less anxious about money
.
I hope your day improves after your bad start. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Thank you, just one of them mornings I think. She was just trying to help because she knew we had to leave early so I feel even more guilty for being annoyed
I can't wait until they are all home and I can apologise
I am a lot less anxious about the debt HH although you probably know me now I'm anxious about the budget and making sure I don't fall behind on anything etc. Still rubbish sleep because I think that's just me. I just worry about everything
Then worry about worrying :rotfl: Then I feel bad because I should be happy that the debt is going which I really am I can't believe but I'm still anxious about the stuff that's left.
I hope that makes sense

Aww bless you. We're all very different. Some people don't worry about anything and some are just born worriers, it's just the way it is.
At least once the debt has gone it will a big weight off your mind. It's looking like it won't be hanging around for as long as you thought either which is great. :T x 0 -
Sorry you had such a bad start to the day.
The debt is all going down & that is all good
By March you will only have one debt to think about which is good news.

Sounds like a rough start to the day Wannabe, but good that the school were understanding about DD's shoes. I think schools can be ridiculous with the turnaround they expect for replacing uniform etc and all the extra costs for events and trips. It will be ok with DD, once she's home from school and you get a chance to talk about it

I find that when I've been really worried about something, braced for the worst and then it doesn't happen (or if something good happens instead!) the anxiety doesn't dissipate, instead it sort of sloshes around and I find myself getting anxious about the strangest things or for no reason at all. I can't even imagine how stressed you've been recently with your budget being so tight, so even though you've made such great progress recently, it makes sense that your body hasn't quite caught up with you yet. Be kind to yourself and remember that you are doing so amazingly well!
Hope you have the chance to do something lovely for yourself this weekend, I'm always so impressed with all your activities - you are providing such a wonderful life for your smalls

That happens to me too. You can't go from anxious to relaxed in an instant. If I won a million pounds tomorrow I would still be stressed for ages, because it does take time for the stress to dissipate and for you to realise that things are better now. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
