It sounds so lovely at your house! Mind you I agree with bleach smelling like the swimming baths, not my favourite thing but the feeling of everything being clean is so satisfying. The baking smells will be beautiful and I know the biscuits will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for the heads up on the 29p veg - I always look forward to that!.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Hate the smell of bleach.

There is something really comforting about having everything clean and in its place, isn't it?
It's daft but I have done the same although I am away about three weeks probably. The fresh bed will make me feel all cosy and welcoming when I get back.
Whenever I read your diary, I notice that you are thinking of others even when times are hard for you. Dropping off cookies is a really kind thing to do and teaches your little ones a wonderful life lesson
Enjoy the week with the nativities. They always make feel all mushy.
Take care honey

Sending you and your little ones (((hugs))) and to say I agree with others who notice how much you think of other people, even when your situation sometimes feels dire. If your children grow up with your values they will be wonderful people. XXXI Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Afternoon (already
)
Older two off to school and the youngest has her review with the respiratory team today and hopefully will be back in school tomorrow for the 4 days. I need to nip and get her a pair of tights though! I totally forgotUnless I can convince DD1 to wear her trousers for the last 4 days so DD2 can wear her tights :rotfl:
We dropped in the biscuits and Xmas cards. Lovely to make people smile. The smalls went into school happy after that.
I need to polish the floors and hoover the stairs before school run time and then it's straight on to the Dr appointment. So dinner will be a 'ready meal' from the freezer, they all get to choose what they'd like so they prefer it I think. DS asks why I can't just turn every meal into a ready meal, then they can choose everyday :rotfl:
An Xmas card arrived in the post today and youngest was so happy! She isn't so happy I've told her to wait for the other two before she opens it :rotfl:
Hope everyone is well

That's really lovely of you and DC to make biscuits and cards for the nursing home. Do you watch the programme where the children visit the old people's home. I love it.
Hope DD's appointment goes well and she manages to get into school for the rest of the week. I bet there's lots of lovely things going on.
Being able to choose their meal sounds quite the treat. Wish somebody would fill my freezer for me so I could do thatx

Evening
Thank you Teafor2 Smalls loved giving them too. I know it's not much but we have plenty of baking/craft things so it's all we can do this year.

DD's appointment went okay. Pretty pointless it seems when she was seen by the higher up team last week. The nurse seemed to think it was pointless too. Although she reassured me that something that had been changed shouldn't have been and to carry it on as we are. She's sent a letter over to everyone else to confirm this.
So she can go back to school tomorrow (not looking forward to that) but it does give me chance to catch up on things I can't do with her around.
DD1's nativity tomorrow so she needs to take lunch and dinner to school as she won't finish till 6.30pm. She will be ready for bed when she gets in!
Looking forward to bedtime tonightIt's cold and I'm tired.
Hope everyone is well
