Hello W,
I've been away and just catching up. Sorry to hear about all your troubles. I hope all of you are feeling better now.
My late mother used to say that you should never promise children something you can't deliver so not telling the wee ones was the right thing to do. It's really bad to disappoint children and you would never, ever do that yourself so why should anyone else?
Your're doing great in very difficult circumstances.
Take care of yourself as well. xxxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Thank you, it's only a cold no doubt youngest has shared :rotfl:
We didn't bake
To be honest we haven't done anything
We've just had a really slow day watching TV and pottering round
Have arranged to collect the ashes on Friday so she will be home for Xmas :A
We do need to do a card so we can post it. We will do that and the gingerbread tomorrow. Might pop some other Xmas biscuits in the oven at the same time and then the smalls can take them to the nursing home on the way to school Monday. Make the most of the oven being on.

Feeling more organised now we've cut the to-do list down a lot. We will do the baking and the card tomorrow and I have it all set up so no excuses.
Only the two nativities this week to do and I have already got the tickets for me to go. I'm just attending the morning 'show' so I don't need to pay for the other smalls to attend too
We have no other plans for this week. Our activity a day hasn't really been done in any sort of order this time but we have done something everyday even if a few have been as simple as reading an Xmas story in bed etc.
I'm going to hang up the rest of the decorations they have made and I will finish my cards to the smalls so they can put those up too. Secretly hoping they will make me one
