Glad DD has been sorted before the weekend, hope she feels better soon.
Hope this weekend is a restful one for you xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Thank you

Been talked into making gingerbread tomorrow :rotfl: So I need to get out all the things for that. I'm sure I'd put it together before all the madness. They where supposed to be seeing a relative but they've let them down  Confirms my decisions all along have been for the best and I shouldn't change them.

That's bad about the relative letting the smalls down - shame on them
But you don't need them you can manage perfectly well without them xx I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
I think letting children down is a really mean thing to do. If it's a regular occurrence then you're right not to get too involved with them again. Do the children mind or do they just accept it?
Making gingerbread will be fun, I bet they'd rather be doing that with you anyway

Luckily I hadn't told the smalls tbh I'm glad
I'd have been worried all day anyway. They'd have been excited if they knew and I didn't want to let them down (DS always thinks its my fault
)
I found out the gingerbread activity things, randomly found some other cutters in there Xmas related too.

Glad littlest is feeling a little better, and hoping the improvement continues :A
Awful that the DC have been let down - even if they didn't know it. I don't believe in wishing ill on people BUT I do believe in wishing that they get what they deserve.... nuff said.:oI Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy0 -
Morning, hope you all managed to catch up on some sleep. Are you all ready for gingerbread baking

Wise move about not telling the children. DS won't really think it's your fault, but you're the only person there to blame
I don't mind children getting angry at parents about things. They need to let off steam like everybody else and they're in a safe environment with somebody who loves them, who'll take the time to talk things through with them while they're working through their emotions. I think it all adds up to being more in control and able to deal with things as they get older. I know what I'm trying to say! Rudeness is a totally different ball game though
Have a great day. x0 -
Enjoy your day making gingerbread WF xxMummytogirls x0

Thank you

Morning,
I think the smalls have shared their germs with me, although I'd rather it me that felt rubbish than them. Older two seem over it now just youngests lingering around.
We are all still in pjs with blankets
Got hardly anything done. I did put some Christmas lights up last night though.
Going to try and do some surveys.
Hope everyone is well
