  • Thank you HH, I do feel a bit better sounds daft but those letting us down today made me feel happier about the decisions I've made. My anxiety is really playing up but I've doubled up on some of my meds so hoping it keeps it under some sort of control. Be amazing if I had a button to switch off my head :rotfl:

Haha Beanie I feel really mean I still haven't done much to make it Christmas like here :o

Hi Wannabe, hope you and the little ones are enjoying your Sunday. :)

Know exactly what you mean about being let down. It just reaffirms what you knew deep down. Being willing to give people the benefit of the doubt is OK but not if they see it as a sign of weakness and think they can do what they want.

Hope you're feeling less anxious - is it something in particular that's bothering you or just a general feeling? Don't go into details, I'm just wondering if there's anything you can or somebody else can do, that would relieve the feeling. xx

    Afternoon :)

We've baked and cleaned and I've sorted through the cupboards putting things back in the right places. I really have no idea how random things end up in the wrong cupboards! It drives me insane! Like it makes me feel 'itchy' :rotfl: Anyway happy to say everything is back in the right places and I'm sat having a coffee and feel better. (I realise I sound totally crazy that things behind cupboard doors play on mind when I'm not even sat in the same room :o)

Smalls are just eating their dinner and then going in the bath. We will watch a movie I think before bed time. The weather isn't as bad as yesterday today so managed to clear the front again. I'm sure there is only me on the whole row that does it

I hope you've all had a lovely day

Just a little worried when you saying you're doubling up on meds... I don't know what you have (and it's none of my business) and sometimes you just have to make a decision to get through, but don't take any risks...
We've had sunshine today - so different from yesterday, which was truly foul and as you know could have gone badly wrong if DS hadn't made it back to his car (probably why I have my 'mum' head on and worrying).
Not long now till the days start to get longer. :)

    Evening,

No snow HH today hasn't been too bad it's raining now though. We did have a yellow warning for snow though  Up on higher ground I think it's been quite bad looking at the local news.

Thank you Cherry, I do it quite often :o I'm fine :) The weather was alot better today than yesterday. It seems to have changed again now. It's awful but then it is December I guess. I hate the darkness. Can't wait for the longer days.

Thank you Beanie I agree. I feel so lucky to have such lovely replies and support

  • Feel like I've got a lot done today, the house is lovely and clean again (although the smalls say it stinks like the swimming baths? I can't smell it though ) All the cupboards wiped out and ironing caught up with.

We have baked gingerbread and oat biscuits in Xmas shapes, decorated and wrote some tags so we can deliver them to the nursing home tomorrow. Also got some for the SA to add into their giving tree meals/drinks. I will pop down with those while the smalls are at school.

We have a Christmas card to write and post tomorrow and then I think we are all set for Xmas.

I noticed Mr T has the fresh veg at 29p again I think I might try and pop in with some change tomorrow and pick some up. I am dying for some 'fresh' things. Even if I turn some into soup!

The smalls have Xmas parties this week at school and DD1 needs Sandwiches for 6 and DD2 needs 6 packets of crisps. Hope DS brings his letter tomorrow so I can sort them Tuesday all in one trip.

5 more school days to go :D Looking forward to the holidays.
