I bet you are feeling exhausted. It's a busy time of year anyway without the added pressures you've got.
If you know the little ones are going to be happy with what they've got for Christmas I wouldn't feel guilty. But please keep in mind the SA. I've donated gifts in the past and it upsets me to think people might not use them. I never think of it as charity, just paying kindness forward, which at some point I know you'll do because I can just tell you're that sort of person.
The panto will be fun and it's a lovely family tradition. Can remember going to see Jack and the Beanstalk years ago with DD and hubby and for some reason Lara Croft came swinging onto stage - it made perfect sense at the time
Hubby was completely spellbound :rotfl: 0 -
I am going to visit the SA this week and speak to them. I have some clothes youngest and oldest has outgrown to pass over to them so will be going anyway. I'm sure they can help with the food bank too. We always donate back where we can. So much so DD chose to walk home from a Dr appointment a couple of weeks ago and give the taxi fare to the SA giving tree (that gives a hot drink/lunch to someone in need)
We loved the Panto in Summer so I'm sure tomorrow will be enjoyed. Although I have to say I'm really not in the 'mood' for it
I feel bad saying that. Of course I won't let the smalls know that
ETA just to clarify asking the SA about the food bank not gifts for the smalls!

Just a thought re the medical evidence. I am probably preaching to the converted but ensure you take a copy of it in case it gets lost in the post or with the DLA people.
Thank you I will definitely take copies of everything

When you worry about posting non MSE things, see how folks jump in and help - that's brilliant
It isn't all about the money. I think you'll find there is a lot more going on in most people's lives. So the upshot is don't be afraid to air your problems as there is always someone out there who can help. You are doing so much better than you give yourself credit for xx I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Oh bless your DD, what a lovely thing to do. Glad you're going to speak to the SA about food. I hope if they ask about a small gift for the little ones you'll at least think about it.
Usually when I really don't look forward to going somewhere I end up really enjoying it. Hope that's the same for you with the panto. x0 -

I hope you all realise how much I appreciate the help
I'm worried I sometimes just come across as moaning for nothing etc.
Thank you
