Morning Wannabe, hope you managed to drop off eventually.
DD's trip sound wonderful. Grandma took a family member on a similar trip when he was little and he still talks about it when we go down memory lane - he's now 32! so I'm sure it's something she'll remember forever.
That word guilt seems to be automatically engraved onto our brains as soon as we become parents doesn't it. Your plans for Christmas sound perfect and spending time together is what it's all about. Books were always top of my list, you can't beat getting lost in a good story.
Have a lovely day.

Morning

Another day closer to Xmas, my smalls are so excited
I hardly got any sleep! I gave up and got on the sofa in the end. All smalls in school (If youngest makes tomorrow in school which she should it's only half day for her) This will be the first week shes done 5 days in weeks! I've waved them all off on their school trip this morning and now I'm having a coffee and going to get on with cleaning and changing the beds etc. Lots to keep me busy (and warm!)
I need to find out last years Xmas cards (yes I am one of those who put old ones up so it looks like we have more
We don't really receive any other than the smalls from school) Which yesterday youngest was so pleased she got a card from someone.
It's the little things :A
Have a lovely day

Afternoon
Struggling today
Feeling meh!
Cleaning done though, waiting for school run time. I'm sure the smalls will cheer me up. I think we are going to make Christmas cards to each other this evening then we have some to put up. We still have no tree yet
So I might put the lights we have up on the windows etc.
No idea what to do for dinner “Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
