Is it actually possible to improve the situation where you are? I can understand not wanting to uproot the children from school, but you seem to be in a bad place a lot of the time, and that won't be helping the DC.
Having to be realistic about things takes a lot of courage and determination, but IMO you need to put your needs nearer the top of the list. Children can and do adapt very quickly.
I really hope that things start to improve for you in the very near future. XX

Although I don't know the full circumstancesI have to agree in general with Chrystal. If you are in danger would it be better in the long run to move now? Obviously, though, I may be misinterpreting the situation xx

    Thank you x

Slow day really, just pottered around and cleaned outside etc. Girls have been playing with their dolls house and things ALL day.

I really want to try and make the circus tomorrow evening. It's quite late though. Well late for us the kids are normally in bed before its starting time. I guess as a one off late night it won't hurt :o I assume other families will be there with small ones

Today has been a NSD. Tomorrow won't be if we go to the circus but then that should be it until food shopping at weekend.

Painkillers, bath and bedtime now I think.

    Hope everyone's well

We made the circus it was a wonderful evening, very late though!!

Youngest totally surprised me and loved every second!

On the back of this I have booked to go to the theatre next weekend :o
MSE wise though I looked for a discount code.. Instead of over £70 for the 4 of us it was only £25 :o Still expensive but worth it.

While looking for a code for that I found one for bowling. The older two have asked a few times to go but I think it's expensive. Anyway with the code I booked for 2 games and its less than £20.

So yeah expensive night and morning :o That will be the last of paid activities though. I've spread them out over the rest of the holidays (I've already booked some family mornings at the light cinema £1.95 each for that) So no more spending!

Free things we still have things on at the library and salvation army planned. Along with making use of the free museums and feeding time at the aquarium.

I feel I've tried to justify it enough now :o :rotfl:

The Bowling code is for Hollywood bowl all over I think but it has to be a game before 11am

That all sounds fantastic and you really have done well with keeping the cost down. No need to justify the money spent. It is all worthwhile. The wee ones will love it. What are you going to see in the theatre?
